Attends hospital births? All Hospitals
I feel my role in a hospital is very important. Working well with the hospital staff and keeping you informed of your options can help provide a more satisfying outcome. Birth is unpredictable and generally does not follow the path we had intended. I believe we are more likely to feel satisfied with our birth outcomes when we feel empowered to make our own choices and when we are educated and informed about necessary changes. I hope to provide calm and gentle support and to offer comfort measure options and guidance through-out the birth journey.
Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers
When attending births at birth centers, I often find it helpful to come to one of your prenatals in order to meet your birth team.
Attends home births? Some Home Births
Birthing at home can be a powerful experience. I will attend any home birth that is attended by a qualified Midwife.
