Amy is amazing and a must-have for pregnancy.

She has a calm demeanour that made my husband and I feel relaxed in her presence, even during our first meeting. She was always available to answer our questions with a knowledgeable answer and provided additional resources if needed. Amy helped me stay confident all throughout my pregnancy and when it was time to deliver my first child, I felt ready. During labour, Amy knew what I needed before I even said anything. She helped me have the birth that I wanted and made it a positive experience. Postpartum, she provided me with invaluable support to keep me motivated during any challenges I faced.

My husband and I are extremely happy we chose to work with Amy for our birth and highly recommend hiring her as doula.

I hired Amy as my Post-Partum Doula and she was wonderful! Even though I was looking and feeling rough (and my home was a disaster!) when she arrived she put me right at ease and I felt very comfortable with her. She is easy-going but hardworking and very knowledgeable. She was super-easy to talk with while she got right to work doing whatever I needed. For example, she did some light housekeeping for me while we discussed post-partum life and I nursed my baby. I would definitely hire her again!

Amy supported my partner and I though our pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Amy's presence during my daughters birth provided my partner and I with exactly the amount of support that we needed. My husband had been concerned that having a doula would negate his role as "support person", however in the end he found that having Amy present allowed him to feel more comfortable and capable. Essentially, Amy did everything we needed before we even knew we needed it.

Post partum I experienced more challenges than I had expected and Amy worked tirelessly to provide me with the support I needed and when she was unavailable or felt others were more capable she put me in contact with others who could help.

I would recommend Amy to anyone thinking of getting a doula. She has an exceptional ability to provide exactly what's needed without invading on an experience that belongs to solely the mother and father.

My husband and I felt incredibly blessed to have Amy at our side during the birth of our son.  As first time parents we were anxious about the birthing process, but Amy magically put those fears to rest and we had an amazing birth experience. I could not imagine this happening without such a supportive doula.  If we are fortunate enough to have another child in our future, I know who I want on my support team. Thanks Amy!

A kind friend of mine suggested I connect with Amy after my baby was born. Amy has such a gentle and supportive way of encouraging new moms and providing answers to questions (if she does not know the answer, she will follow up with you). She has created such a nurturing and comfortable breastfeeding environment for new moms to meet each other and talk about their experiences. Amy is a wealth of knowledge for breastfeeding moms and is a positive force in this community. Because of Amy's breastfeeding support in those early weeks, I am proud to say my daughter is almost one year old and I plan to breastfeed beyond her first birthday.

Amy MacAulay is a joy to be around.  The birth of my first child was a beautiful and powerful event in my life, but breatfeeding support was a challenge.  I have breastfed long after other friends have weened. Having a doula, like Amy, gave me the confidence, knowledge, and support I needed to fully embrace the experience. We are still happily nursing at 20 months.

In addition to her excellent doula services, Amy also leads a breastfeeding support group that has devloped a community of breastfeeding Mothers that now offer each other care and support.
