What a blessing it is to have crossed paths with the beautiful Ronit. I met her as my yoga teacher and had taken several classes with her. When I found out I was pregnant, I knew right away I wanted her as my doula. She was there for us througout my pregnancy. She always made time to answer my questions. She provided us with two prenatal sessions in which she helped prep us for labor and delivery. She provided my husband with tips and techniques on natural pain relief during contractions. These were golden! My labor was long and tough and what I remember most of Ronit is how strong she was thorughout the whole process, both physically and mentally. She literally held me through my contractions. When my birth did not go as planned, she was so strong for us. It also helps that she is a nurse and soon to be Midwife! She has so much knowledge and this was particularly helpful when we were in the hospital and were required to make major decisions.

Post-natal, she met with us and worked on breastfeeding with me. When I had some issues, she checked on me, gave me advice, and even connected me with one of her previous clients!

I just can't say enough about Ronit. She is caring, strong, smart, compassionate, and PRESENT!

Thank you Ronit!

I am so grateful to have had Roni as our doula for the birth of our first baby! Roni's knowledge, coupled with her compassion and enthusiasm, were such a blessing along the journey. When the time came to deliver, Roni taught my partner and I how to respond efficiently and effectively to the changes happening in my body, and how to advocate for our own wellbeing when the hospital protocol would have pushed us faster than we wanted to move. Investing in Roni as a guide was one of the best choices that we made, and it is because of her that we had the wisdom we needed to successfully negotiate a natural, vaginal birth, in a clinical setting that would have made that impossible for many people. Thank you, Ronit!!!

We asked Roni to be our Doula for our first baby. We knew that we wanted our Doula to be our advocate and our guide. Roni was this and more. She met with us several times to discuss our birth plan, what to expect, and ways my partner could help support and help me manage the surges during labor. When I needed advice, because I was concerned my ob would not be supportive of an unmedicated birth, Roni imparted wisdom beyond her years. During my 40+ hours of labor Roni was an ever present supportive guide and gentle advocate. She gave us her opinion and support every time we needed it. If there was anything she was unsure of she would ask her resources. With Roni's help I was able to deliver a healthy baby, without an epidural, despite being induced with Pitocin for over 20 hours. After baby's birth Roni help me initiate nursing right away and kept a watchful eye on me when complications arose with postpartum. In the days and weeks following the birth Roni checked in on us periodically and she continued to serve as a guide. I recommend Roni as a Doula without hesitation. In fact, if we would want her to be our Doula again!

It is truly a blessing to have Ronit as your doula. She exudes love, compassion, strength, and knowledge. All of which are more than needed during birth. Ronit was there for me in a way no one else could be. Her primary goal was to make sure I was physically and emotionally taken care of. I ended up having an unplanned c-section and her care did not stop there. This was a very emotional birth for me and my husband. Ronit's care extended beyond me and she was of support to  my husband as well.

Ronit also provides support throughout the pregnancy. She was available to answer any questions in a quick turn around time. If she did not have the answers, she would reach out to her birthing community to find out! She provided two very comprehensive pre-natal appointments during which she prepped us for what would be needed during labor and birth. Little did I know how much we would end up relying on the techniques she taught us at the pre-natals.

Going into labor, I felt prepped, strong, and informed thanks to working with Ronit. She truly has a way of empowering mamas and papas no matter what turn their birth might take.

Thank you forever Ronit!

Midwifery and supporting women in labor and birth is Roni's call. It's the first feeling I had when I met her and when I got pregnant. It surely became even more clearer during my daughter's birth. Not only Roni was knowledgeable, very experienced, supportive of my desires but she also truly became my soul sister in birth through pregnancy and especially birthing process. That's who I wanted to have by my side - respectful of my choices, loving , compassionate doula who really knows what she does! Her hip squeezes oh man, they were magical and everything she did was just in a right moment and the right way. She has midwifery intuition, I can tell. It's Roni who spiritually turned out to be my midwife; I just wish she could be my actual midwife. Roni was like a fairy lady, she managed to do so many things during the birth, I could later remember: she was holding my hand, supporting emotionally, physically, she took a great care after the birth, she even took amazing pics of my family and more and more!! She was a great partner in this magical spiritual experience of the birth of my daughter. I hope to have another one and have Roni by my side again, and hopefully as a home midwife this time ??

Please, please, please, do yourself and your family the amazing favor to have Ronit by your side on your big day. She is exactly all you can desire, why? Because she really listens to you, she is capable of getting every personality so she can provide you with the very best care. In my experience with her, we never felt judged or pressed to do something, she respected our desicions and circumstances. We were in the country only because of my husband's job so we didn't have our family or friends there. But Ronit fulfilled that space and makes us feel loved and accompanied in all senses. She empowered us through all the process and help us make it a wonderful and funny experience. She is a sweetheart, very authentic, supportive and loving person, and the most important thing: she really loves being a doula, she loves  this proffesion and she will fulfill everything you need.

Roni - there are almost not enough words to say about how instrumental she was in our birth experience as our doula!  We first met with Roni when my partner was about 8 months along as a referral from a good friend of mine.  I liked her instantly from  communication we had on the phone, but wanted to make sure that my partner jived with her.  She was absolutely amazing, very knowledgeable and understanding of the pregnant body and baby growth, how things work and what to expect (basically) with labor and delivery from both mother's, partner's and baby's perspective.  Any questions that we had, she answered completely, and if she didn't know an answer she found one through her vast network of resources.  We are researchers, so Roni would email us many informational links for the subjects we had questions about, as well as making some recommendations on how we could be more prepared for our birth experience.  She would ALWAYS check in from time to time to see how we were doing and if we had any questions.  Skip to labor, once we called Roni when we thought it was "time", she came right over and became part of our family as we worked through 40+ hours of labor together, the transition to the hospital and through our daughter's birth.  Roni was 110% present, constantly offering advice, words of encouragement, relaxation/meditation techniques and hugs while being there not just for mom, but for me as a partner as well. It also helped that with her nursing background, she was able to translate any medical jargon to us so that we were always in the know while being our voice in reiterating our wishes for our birth plan.  Once our daughter was born, Roni made sure that we were settled in before leaving the hospital and has continued to follow up from a postpartum standpoint.  I HIGHLY recommend her with no reserves!

Every pregnant woman and her partner should be so lucky to have Roni as their doula. Roni brought so much joy, laughter, ease, love, peace and light to the entire journey from prenatal yoga to after-birth crafts. When you choose Roni as your doula you will have a friend for life. She wore sparkles on her eyelids during birth (per my request) in an extra effort to make the moment more magical. From the instant that Roni found out that I was pregnant during a yoga class she was teaching, she was by my side supporting me, believing in me, reassuring me and connecting me with resources (chiropractors, massage therapists, you name it). And as we got closer to the birth Roni checked in with my husband and me frequently. She taught us what to expect during each stage of birth, how to prepare and how to advocate for my birth plan in the hospital. She always listened to every concern that I had and went out of her way to answer any questions, often calling on the collective expertise of the doula/midwife community. During the actual birth Roni encouraged me to stick to my birth plan, but she remained open to any decision that I made to stray from it. She was my translator when the hospital medical staff spoke in clinical terms that I didn't undersand and she asked questions on my behalf when I wasn't given an explanation of what was happening. She made my husband egg salad to keep him nourished and chai tea for me to keep me warm. Even now that our bundle of joy is here Roni continues to offer support, helping me transition into this new phase of motherhood. She has connected me with other mommies, she has offered support with breastfeeding and most importantly she has given me a friendship that I will have forever. I have no idea what that experience would have been like without her. But I am so thankful that I will never have to find out.

We were so blessed to have Ronit as our doula, she was the biggest loving support my husband and I could ever dreamed having for the birth of our baby girl. Ronit helped us prepare for birth in the weeks leading up to our due date, durng our prenatal appointments she gave us the confidence, piece of mind, and tools to have no fear brith experience. During my birth journey we were a little discouraged by a team of OBs that focused on the negative posibilites of our delivery, Ronit was amazing in helping me regain my peace and confidence with a beutiful meditation. I can only wish for every mom out there to have a Ronit by your side durig birth, she supported me with her loving arms when I needed her and helped my husband be the birth partner I needed him to be. She made our whole experience so comfortable making sure my needs and wishes were being respected at all times even when it was about family. Ronit is by far the best decision we made for our birth, she was very soothing magical and calming presence that will fill you with love and will make you feel safe at all times. She listens to you and respects your deciions without judgement. Roni loved us through out the process and for that we will never forget our experience with her.

I was very lucky to have Roni as my doula for my first birth, which was at home.  After first meeting Roni, I knew I wanted to ask her to be my doula because of her outgoing and friendly personality.  As part of the prenatal visit, we went over ways to make me comfortable, and went through several massage techniques for my husband to use during labor but also during the evenings at the end of the pregnancy.  Roni checked on my often as we were leading to my due date.  She suspected that I might be early and/or have a shorter labor for a first time mom, based on talking to me about myself and my own mom's births.  Although there were a few days she was out of town, she let me know who a backup doula would be in case I went into labor.  The day my baby was born, I was communicating with Roni all morning to let her know how I was feeling, and she could tell the labor was real, even though my water hadn't broken.  She took care of notifying the midwife that my labor was starting.  This was very helpful since my labor was beginning to progress.  Because of her intuition suspecting that my labor would go quick, she came over quickly, and was able to support me when my husband had to leave to drop off our dog and while the midwives showed up.  I felt extremely comfortable with her because of her passion for the birth process and also her knowledge of the body through her yoga teaching, birth assistant experience, and nursing school.  If something wasn't working, she would always have another suggestion.  Her personality ensured that even through the difficult parts, she was cheering me on, and thinking positively.  She made me feel like I was doing great,.  Right after the birth, she continued to be supportive, feeding me etc. while I recovered.  Roni was an awesome doula, and I would definitely recommend her!

Roni made us feel comfortable going into the labor process because we had complete faith in her and confidence that she would guide us through whatever we needed.

As the father, my only goal was to be helpful, knowing that I was not the star of this process. Roni helped me to be fully present and by Katya's side throughout her labor.

We couldn't put a price on the peace of mind that Roni brought to our family. I'm so grateful to have been able to help Katya through her contractions, using Roni's techniques that we practiced. Also priceless was her relief during the times when I could grab food and a few minutes apart from Katya knowing she was being well cared for. All told, Katya was in labor for 36 hours and Roni made two trips to the hospital with us - she changed her schedule and found coverage for her yoga instruction so she could be with us the whole time. She is worth 7 times her fee.

The whole process was not what we expected, but Roni provided a sense of calm and consistency. We planned for a natural birth without medication, but we made the decision over time that was no longer practical. Roni supported our decision and was there for us without judgement. Most amazingly, Roni prepared the hospital staff to allow me to catch our little Maggie Faye - time slowed down in my mind and the whole experience was like a dream. Roni captured the moment with the Live picture feature of her iPhone, proving that I didn't freeze like I thought I did.

We couldn't imagine bringing Maggie Faye into the world without Roni.

We met Roni through our midwives, Riverside Midwifery, and felt an immediate connection with her.  I truly believe God led us to Roni to be our doula for the birth of our first child.  Roni quickly and naturally became a friend and confidante for me. Her endless loving support through a difficult and emotionally challenging prodromal labor period and then a painful and powerful 24-hour labor and delivery ended up being absolutely necessary for both me and my husband.  Roni was an amazing support both physically and emotionally for me throughout some very intense back labor, but she was also a constant support to my husband, who was with me emotionally and physically throughout the entire labor.  I believe her support was equally necessary for the both of us.  She was also instrumental in helping calm, communicate, and faciliate smooth interaction between my family, the midwives, and me and my husband.  She was a very soothing and calming presence.  Finally, Roni never stopped believing in me, in my desire to have a natural birth, and in my ability to work through the pain to deliver our beautiful baby girl.  There are some things I would change about how I handled my labor, but Roni is something I would definitely not change.  She is a fantastic doula, and I have every confidence that one day she will make an equally fantastic midwife. I cannot recommend her highly enough.  Thank you, Roni, for an amazing start to what I hope will be a lifelong friendship!  And keep yourself in reserve to be our doula for any babies that are still to come! We love you!

Without hesitation, I would recommend Roni to anyone who might be considering using her doula services.  As the father, I was admittedly apprehensive about using a doula in the first place.  When the day finally came though and my wife Annie went into labor, I could not have been happier that Roni was by our side to aid in comforting both of us.  Roni was a wonderful resource throughout the laboring process, as well as a fantastic shoulder to lean on when needed.  Roni is a very compassionate, caring, and comforting person and also very knowledgable and passionate about her work!

At first, we were hesitant to hire a doula, but the more we talked and met with Roni, she put us at ease and we became more than confident about our birth plan and our birthing team.

During my entire pregnancy, she was available any time for questions, advice and support. Whether it be late night text messages, phone dates, or meeting me at yoga class; I always felt supported and encouraged. At our prenatal appointments, Roni gave us the tools we needed to best prepare us during the last few weeks of my pregnancy. We used all of her suggested massage and relaxation techniques right up until the night my water broke! When the big day came, Roni was right there (breathing through contractions with me at 3am!) along the way.

Once we got to the hospital, Roni worked with our birthing team to help us meet our birthing needs and goals. My biggest hesitation and doubts during my entire pregnancy and labor was that we wouldn't be able to verbalize and actualize how we envisioned bringing baby into the world.  She helped to make everything on our birth plan (even things we forgot!) happen seamlessly. Laboring and birthing was without-a-doubt not easy breezy by any means, but with Roni there as our advocate and by our side when our doctor and nurses were not in our room, I was able to have the birth I always pictured.

I truly believe that with Roni's expertise during my pregnancy, labor, and delivery, I was able to have an intervention free, unmediated, natural birth. Thanks to her, we bought a beautiful, healthy 8lb, 6oz baby boy into our lives!

I would happily recommend Roni for anyone who is looking for a doula that will not only work with you and your needs, but also be a guiding light during one of the most difficult yet precious moments of your life. I wouldn't change anything about our birth story; especially hiring Roni!

Roni is a huge pleasure to be around!  She gives off very positive and relaxing vibes  is very easy  to  talk to and to feel comfortable around.  She gave us great advice on breathing and massage techniques that were very useful during labor!  There was one hip squeeze technique Roni used on me when my contractions became stronger that helped manage the pain.  I honestly don't know how I'd manage without it, they would have been 10 times more painful and I probably would  have asked for an epidural earlier.  She also played rain sounds that helped really calm me and was very encouraging during times I needed reassurance.  I would definitely recommend Roni's services to anyone who wants a dedicated experienced resource by their side throughout the entire labor and someone who can help with pain management and relaxation.

We met Roni in 2012 after having looked for a doula to assist us with our first pregnancy. From the beginning, she radiated positivity. She explained her role and what that meant for us before and during birth and shared some of her homeopathic items. It was extremely important for me to have a natural birth and she became a very important role in that process, more than I could ever imagine! Roni helped put my mind in gear for what every woman tells you is a pain like no other. She visited our home several times prior to birth to show my husband and I positions that would help me during contractions and during full labor that would help relieve pain or assist my baby in making further progress. At every point, she always asked for my feedback and always made me feel that my role as a momma was one of strength and purpose, giving me more confidence in how powerful my body is. She was so gracious and considerate; she always asked how I felt and was very cautious and gentle throughout. I have had very long labors with each child, beginning with a 50hr labor with my first, and I can't tell you how very vital Roni's presence was for this. Roni became THE most important person during my laboring. She helped with every breath, every sip of water, every pressure point. I am stunned by her ever-lasting patience, her unbelievable intuition and her continued encouragement through and through. This girl knows what you need with one look on your face and if she doesn't know it, she will find out! Roni is a person literally born to do this; to help mommas deliver their babies and remind them that our bodies can do this. Since then, I've had 3 healthy babies and all were delivered naturally, the last two were natural and without any interventions (no epidural/pitocin), all of which were accomplished with help from Roni. I am forever grateful to her and can't express enough how special she is. If you have her as a doula, you will have an angel warrior by your side.

Roni has a passion and a true gift of supporting women through pregnancy, labor and delivery. I have had the sincere pleasure of knowing Roni for years before becoming pregnant and from the moment I found out I was pregnant I knew that I wanted Roni as part of my birthing team.

Throughout the entire pregnancy, Roni was always a phone call away for any questions, uncertainties, or anxieties but she also welcomed happy news and milestones. Communication was always received with a listening ear and reciprocated with loving and empowering words. I truly valued the amount of time Roni spent listening to our labor and birth wishes. The prenatal appointment was invaluable as Roni walked us through all the ways we could labor at home using positioning, massage, and what we already had available to us for support and comfort. The session gave my husband and me confidence that we could manage labor at home until it was time to go to the hospital.

While the plan was to labor at home for as long as possible with the support of Roni and my husband, labor came on quickly and there was no time for Roni to even make it to our house. Instead, Roni coached us through breath and relaxation on speaker phone while we drove to the hospital. Once at the hospital, Roni never left my side and provided nurturing touch to get me through intense contractions. She offered advice on positions and was always encouraging and loving even when I was feeling most overwhelmed. Because of her attentiveness throughout our prenatal discussions, she knew that water was my relaxation tool and got me into the shower until it was time to push. Not only was Roni attentive to my needs during labor, she also made sure my husband was doing well.

I could not have had a more supportive team. Between Roni, my husband, the L&D nurse and my midwife, I achieved a wonderful natural birth experience. I am eternally grateful for Roni, her amazing gift and exceptional care.

Hiring Roni Zelivinski to be our doula for the labor and the delivery of our daughter was the single best decision we made throughout my pregnancy and labor. Upon meeting Roni, I knew instantly that she was the right fit for us. Roni is wise beyond her years, and she fully embraces midwifery and helping to bring new life onto this earth as her life work.

Throughout labor, Roni was the perfect blend of compassion, tenacity, and patience. While my husband and I did take birthin classes, we knew that we would quickly forget all the techniques and practices for labor. I am so glad Roni was there to show us different positions, massages, etc for pain coping. She led my husband in many of the exercises, but she also stepped in to help, allowing him a break. At about the 24th hour of labor, my husband was bewildered by the process and clearly exhausted by watching his wife in pain. Roni had the insight to pull him aside and tell him to go for a walk, get some coffee, and take a moment to himself; she reassured him that the baby wasnt' coming anytime soon and he needed to be in a better place for me. He continually tells me how her intervention helped him cope with the rest of my labor.

After 36 hours, I successfully delivered our daughter naturally. The pain and exhaustion was very intense at times, but I can't express how comforting it was to feel Roni's presence and hear her voice of encouragement.

Birthing my daughter was the most intense experience of my life, but I look back on it so fondly. I attribute this success to Roni. She has become a part of our family, and I look forward to having my next little with Roni by my side.

I had the honor of having Roni as my Doula. I don't use the term honor lightly as I feel truly blessed to be able to say that she was my doula. As my pregnancy progressed, I was filled with anxiety about childbirth. My little sister told me that she knew an amazing doula that I should meet. At our first meeting I knew that I was in good hands. She had a genuine spirt, filled with positivity and love. In a matter of minutes I felt a deep connection with her and I knew that my birth was going to be okay. I felt comfort in knowing that she was going to be with me. On the day of the birth, due to complications I had to be induced earlier than expected. I called Roni to let her know and she promptly arrived to the hospital at 5am and brought me an extra blanket and fuzzy socks that made me feel even more comfortable. I felt such a sense of relief that I can’t even put into words. At one point my doctor came into the room and informed me that I had stopped dilating and that they might have to do a c-section because the baby was in distress. The doctor asked me how I felt and I was immediately concerned as I had planned on having a vaginal birth and really did not want to have a C-section. Roni looked at the doctor and told her that I, as a mother had the right to feel that way. In that moment I knew that Roni had my back and she was assertive without being obnoxious or disrespectful in any way. They gave me another hour and if I hadn't dialated any more than the 3cm I was to have a C-section. Right away, Roni then made me feel at ease; she comforted me, massaged me and got me to relax by breathing and letting go of all stress. An hour later, I was 9cm dialated and could give birth vaginally. I know that I can owe my miraculous dialation on Roni and if I wasn't relaxed I would've had to have a C-section. I cannot say enough about Roni. She made my last trimester, by birth and my postpartum experience the that best it could've been. I am pro Roni!

The stars made sure we met Roni for the birth of our first son. With love, passion, strength and reassurance she was there for me and for my husband for the whole time I was in labor (app 50 hours). Her increfible strength helped me manage the intense waves, and feel I could do this. She was a great liaison between us and the nurses, since she knew what type of experience we wanted. Always comforting me, reassuring me and reminding me of my power as a woman.

She was also very supportive of my husband and they both communicated well in regards to what I wanted and needed. She stayed with us for 2 nights at the hospital, having little time to properly eat and rest. when our baby finally arrive Roni stayed with us until we were in our private post partum room. roni made sure we had food to eat. She brought food for my husband and for me,to recover out strength after such long journey.

I can only highly recommend her to anyone who wants to have a meaningful exepriencr,a trained doula with such warm heart and so commuted to make this the most beautiful day of your life.

I highly recommend Roni. She assisted with the birth of my first child. She attended our Blissborn birth classes with us.
I provided Roni with a very detailed birth plan (and did not provide one to my midwives or nurses) because I wanted to be able to hand over all the details to her so that on the day my husband and I could focus on our experience. She did that beautifully. On the day she reminded me of the desires I had listed on my birth plan and helped me feel in control of the experience. For example, towards the end of my labor, the midwives suggested getting a catheter, and Roni, knowing my preference for minimal interventions, made sure to ask me if I wanted a catheter, which reminded me that I had a choice in the matter, and could refuse if I wanted
She is also really great with people. I had talked to her in advance about my fear that my mother would get emotional during the birth. During the actual birth, my mother indeed got emotional, and Roni truly saved the day by taking the time to talk to her and reassure her. As a result, a potentially huge incident was avoided, and both my husband and I were able to focus on the labor. Roni was a big part of keeping the birth day an entirely positive experience.
Roni was there the whole time we needed her. She stayed with me while my husband accompanied the baby to the nursery so that I wouldn’t be alone afterwards, and helped me reflect on the birth.
She is not afraid to do what is needed. She stepped in to rub my back when I needed her to, and was just the right amount of forceful in encouraging me to breathe through my contractions. She showed my husband how to rub me, and helped him take positions to support me. She was exactly what we needed: someone on the outside who can handle things so we could focus, someone who knew the process when we weren’t sure. She was confident in herself, in us, and in the birth process.

I really can't say enough good things about Roni. I asked her to assist me in the birth of my third child. She is a doula par excellence; she embodies exactly what a doula should be and was meant to be. She has such a warm, caring, nurturing demeanor that makes you feel perfectly at ease with her assisting you in the very intimate experience that is birth. She is very knowledgeable in the ways to help a mother during labor; they helped me immensely, much more than anything I had done in my previous two deliveries. She has a serene confidence that is necessary when you are in labor and need someone to encourage you along, but she isn't at all pushy or pontificating. She will do everything to help you reach your goals in labor and delivery, but also knows how to faithfully support your decisions when things don't go as planned. I could not have asked for a better birthing experience, and a huge part of that is due to having Roni as my doula. My outcome would likely have been much different if she hadn't been there supporting me! I would highly, highly recommend her to anyone, and will certainly ask her to assist me again for any other of my babies' births!

I never realized the true value of a doula until I met Ronit. I was under the impression that a doula assisted with the pregnancy in a capacity that was somehow less than that of a midwife, and in some medical respects that is true, but I was wrong in assuming a role of doula was in any way less important. Since day one, Ronit proved her passion for her line of work in a way that was admiring. My husband and I were impressed with her almost immediately. She showed enthusiasm and outlined what was to be expected of her role and provided flexibility in her schedule. She made time to meet with us prior to "the big day" and went over techniques she would use to help calm tension, both mentally and physically. One of her best qualities is that she always communicates and asks for feedback every step of the way. She truly wants to know what works for that person. She displayed a level of maturity and professionalism beyond her years and made me feel safe and secure. Ronit was present when it mattered, and was very present, by communicating and gauging my state of mind and pain. She provided relaxing music, breathing techniques, helpful soothers and any kind of comfort possible. I can't speak highly enough about her, to the point that I honestly felt she surpassed her role and even the role of my midwife. I believe there are certain people who attain the quality of making you feel secure, who understand the true meaning of assistance and guidance and for me, that was Ronit. The person who delivered my baby was my midwife, but the person who stood by my side through the "knitty gritty"; the pushes, the sweat, the tears, was a young lady, who I often think of our angel, who goes by the name of Ronit. Just an added bonus to all of this, I endured a 50 hour labor, which I couldn't have done without my support unit, with Ronit leading my husband and sister-in-law in a team called "Let's do this!" and we all eventually welcomed my first born, healthy baby girl.

I had a VBAC try with Roni and it was the most amazing experience, I don't think I would be able to do a VBAC if it was not Roni. We had one meeting before the labor where she went over various things and techniques to make sure I and my husband know and aware of them. She was able to guide me thru my labor, especially my contractions, since they increased fast and uneven. She helped me with pushes, at the same time not interfering with the doctor and the delivery nurse, and it took me only 5 pushes to get my baby out. And helped me with tips to start nursing him, so he latched right away. She always had this positive aura around me, which made this whole experience amazing (is it really possible to say that about L&D? it is with Roni!) She stayed with me afterwards for several more hours making sure that everything is taken care of and I feel that I could be on my own, helping also my husband to manage taking care of my older son. She took amazing pictures for us. My OB doctor really liked her. The nurses in the hospital commented that she is unusual doula who brings positive reinfiorcement to everybody in the L&D room, even to the experienced nurses (!) and that it's easy to work with her. I am extremely glad that I could find Roni thru doulamatch.com . She was open to my wishes and supported me tremendously. I can only say that I really enjoyed my L&D with Roni, I have one more postpartum meeting with her and really looking forward to it.
