Christy Anne

Kristyn is an amazing doula and herbalist! She provides in depth consults before birth so that she knew exactly the experience I wanted. During birth she is a calm strength with extensive knowledge about relieving discomfort. She also helps with post partum discomforts, and has a lot of experience with breastfeeding. Being an herbalist is a wonderful addition to her doula work, as it increases her ability to aid mother and baby. I highly recommend her!

As an herbalist she has helped support our child who has a chronic illness, which has been a blessing. She has thorough knowledge of herbs and continues to learn as much as she can. I also recommend her herbal services.

Kristyn has been my doula for the birth of both of my children- one hospital birth and one birth center birth.  She has been an amazing support for both myself and my husband, including staying with me for the entirety of my 24 hour labor with my first child!  I don't know how we would have made it through the long labor without her.  She held my hand, massaged my back, and offered suggestions for positions to help move things along and lessen my discomfort.  Kristyn is also a great source of information regarding prenatal health, labor support techniques, breastfeeding, and all things baby related.  As a trained herbalist, she's also very helpful with suggestions for herbal remedies, and we used her for placenta encapsulation after my second child.  Kristyn is also fantastic about responding quickly.  I texted her frequently during week long prodromal labors with both children, and she was always quick to respond with helpful advice.  Should we be blessed with another baby, we will definitely be calling Kristyn.

Prenatal she provided immense emotional and nutritional support with her herbal infusion. Emotionally she gave me a plethora of techniques to stay centered and take care of myself as an expecting of five.

On delivery day, Kristyn was litterally a godsend for my home birth. Just as I was doubting my physical ability to push, she applied "miracle" oil. Instantly my body opened to release my precious princess. She was a powerful silent presence.

Postpartum she made placenta pills to help me transition into parenting my now six children. She continues to support me with herbal wisdom and support.
