Amy is AMAZING! When I brought up the idea of a doula to my husband, he was a little reluctant. We agreed to go to a meet and greet with local doulas and instantly connected with Amy.  She understood our sense of humor, helped us map out a birth plan and guided us as we practiced our labor positions.

I knew early on in my pregnancy that I wanted to have as natural of a birth process as possible.  Amy is 100% supportive of my choices. She helped me to labor at home and was a great support to me and my husband.  She made sure my husband was involved in the entire process so no one felt like the odd man out. She kept me as cool, calm and collected as possible through the final stage of labor. Amy also took some of the pressure off of my husband - like when he needed a snack break - so I was always supported.

Once our little man arrived, Amy took special photos on my phone to show him being measured and weighed, my husband holding him for the first time and me meeting my son. Amy was there whenever we needed her.  She also helped with recovery and provided me some sanity while I was struggle with the baby at home.  Working with Amy was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our family.  If we have any more kids, Amy will be one of the first people we call so we can hire her again!

I had a blast taking Amy's birth class! She made the experience fun and interactive. I had a great time every week. I was skeptical about taking a birth class, but I'm grateful that I did. I would not take any other class! Amy's was amazing!

Amy was amazing!
She encapsulated my placenta for me when I had my 2nd child. Something I needed someone else to do!! Haha.
Before having my daughter we met up and had lunch together to discuss what would happen.
She was such a delight!
And that made me feel very comfortable.
We went over all kinds of things like how she would do it, when, how long it would take and her certification.
When my daughter was born Amy came to the hospital and was very professional about the process.
She came, picked up the placenta and went home to get to work.
I trusted her very much so! I had no fears or worries.
When the time was ready to pick it up, she met up my hubby and everything was so nicely set up for us.
I HIGHLY recommend Amy for all of your Motherhood needs.
She was such a delight to work with and so professional. I will most definitely be using her services again!

Working with Amy was fantastic! She was very professional and yet warm and easy to talk to. After meeting Amy once, I felt as though we'd been friends for years.  Amy is incredibly informed about birth interventions, natural birth, postpartum care and lactation. I so appreciated the wealth of resources she shared with me. When unforeseen complications landed me on bed rest in the very last weeks of my pregnancy, Amy was the critical force in helping me to stay positive and feel in control by keeping me focused on all the choices that were still available to me to have the best birth possible. Her presence at my delivery was so comforting for both me and my husband. I also utilized her services for placenta encapsulation and was so thankful I did because I experienced a marked improvement in my emotional health from taking the pills each day. The contacts and visits I had with her during my first postpartum months were extremely helpful and always left me feeling more confident as a new parent. I highly recommend Amy for her doula,  postpartum,  and placenta encapsulation services!

I tell everyone I know expecting a baby…hire a doula! Hiring Amy was the BEST decision my husband and I made for bringing our little girl into the world. Little girl was impatient and decided to make her entrance exactly one month before her due date, but Amy didn’t skip a beat. We texted and she was there. She took over when my husband and mom needed a break and is one of the major reasons I was successful in delivering Little Girl naturally. Three years later, I still contact her to ask her questions or seek her advice. And each year on my birth-day, I think of her and realize again how thankful I am to have had her by my side. If you’re expecting, hire Amy!

I am so grateful for having a doula at my birthing experience!

My husband and I were on the fence about whether or not we should get a doula and whether or not we could afford it. We were very determined to be as prepared for labor & delivery as possible, so we did tons of research and signed up for classes with our hospital, which was all beneficial. But much of the information seemed easily forgettable in the newness & unpredictability of labor, so we decided to research into extra help & support in the form of a doula.

I am so thankful for Amy! She was the buffer we needed between the hospital's procedures and our ultimate decisions. She had so much knowledge on natural approaches to what doctors normally just prescribe treatment or drugs for. I was ready as well as anyone possibly could be as far as research, but the problem is that there is simply too many different directions your labor can go to be able to know everything beforehand. I learned all about the general procedures and expectations, but my labor was very long and very unique. Without Amy, I know the experience could have been negative overall, but she was there to support us -- especially my husband-- and keep us understanding all of our options. She reminded us of the different techniques to experience a calm in the midst of what could have easily seemed like a storm. God was in control, and Amy even prayed along with us which added to our level of comfort immensely.

She has two children of her own, but she very incredibly went above and beyond to accomodate to my 26 hours of labor in the hospital then postpartum care and made arrangements accordingly for her own family! She was an ever-present support whose needs were somehow quietly attended to while she was tending to all of us.

Nothing would've been the same without Amy. Because of her, I can look back and remember being in control of my birthing experience! Thank you, Amy!

Amy was a fantastic addition to my birth support team. She prepared us well for what to expect in certain situations. She also gave me emotional support and encouragement before my labor even began while I was doubting myself. During labor, she kept myself, my husband, others in the room encouraged and led us to do certain things that helped my labor to progress and be more manageable. Her kind and calming personality helped everyone who came in to be at ease with my laboring. Even the nurse we had for the majority of the day commented at the end of her shift at how well Amy worked as a go between with myself and the hospital staff. She never undermined them, but instead helped me and my family to understand certain terms or things that would be done. I can't  say enough how thankful I am to have had Amy there for the birth of my little girl. I know without a doubt my labor would have gone very differently had she not been a part of my team. I will forever be thankful for Amy and the role she played in my labor and delivery. Even my husband said she was worth every penny and he was glad she was there. Thank you Amy, you rock!!!

Amy was great and so easy to work with! I would highly recomend her to ankle of my expectant friends. I had my placenta encapsulated by Amy and she had it done in just 3 days. Taking the  pills made a huge difference in my recovery time and mood and I had none of the "baby blues" that many new moms do. She is so nice and very accomadting with the customers schedule.

Amy was such a great help throughout my pregnancy, birth & postpartum period. She is super informative about subjects including breastfeeding, medical interventions and placenta encapsulation and the benefits. She fulfilled all of my expectations and even went above and beyond! I enjoyed having her as my doula and if I were to ever have another child, she would definitely be my first doula pick! Thank you so much Amy!

My labor and delivery was amazing. Having Amy as my doula that day in my opinion made all the difference. My water broke at 8am and I had my first contraction around 10:30am. Amy was at my house around 11am. She was able to keep me very calm and relaxed by keeping the lights off, fan on, and talking me through my contractions, as well as playing calming music I chose. We stayed at the house until my contractions were three minutes apart, got to the hospital and they were 2 only two minutes apart, everything was moving along so quickly. Once in the room, Amy was so kind and supportive doing anything I needed of her and more. i really enjoyed her placing a cool wash cloth scented with peppermint on my forehead. I delivered by 3:01pm completely natural which was what I had down as my birth plan, even though i didn't know if i could actually do it. I believe that by using Amy as my doula, my idea of the perfect birth experience was made possible.
