Thanks to Becca I was able to have the VBAC that I so desperately wanted.  I have a previous c-section with twin girls and was pregnant with a single boy and really wanted a vaginal birth.  I had what I thought was a supportive OB and midwife, but without Becca's support and encouragement I could have been talked into another c-section- as nurses and midwifes at my "supportive" practice were putting the pressure on to get things moving along or just have a c-section.  This was NOT part of my birth plan and I only wanted to resort to surgery if it was absolutely necessary.  Becca knew what questions to ask and what suggestions to make to the hospital staff to give me the time my body needed for labor to progress.  I ended up with an epidural after 12 tough hours of labor and had another 12 hours ahead of me that ended in an amazing and successful VBAC!!!  Becca knew what positions i should get into to help push my baby down towards the birth canal instead of staying up high where he seemed so very cozy. She also brough at peanut ball to help spread my hips and pelvis, the hospital did not have one on hand and I believe that ball and Becca's help using it is what helped my little boy to drop down successfully.  I felt completely supported the entire time I was in labor, Becca helped explain what was going on to me, my husband and my mother and was by my side whenever I needed her.  She did everything from massage, getting ice chips when I needed them, held a cool cloth on my forehead when I was sick, to again help me get into comfortable and necessary positions even with my epidural.  Becca even visited me at home when my baby was about a week old to help with breastfeeding.  In short, Becca is amazing at what she does and I highly reccoment her services.
