Jennifer is a kind and compassionate soul. She knows her craft and was able to make me feel at ease despite a complicated hospital birth. She interacted very well with hospital staff and my husband and I felt confident having her on our team. I would recommend Jen without hesitation to families searching for a caring and competent doula.
I hired Jennifer Clancy in 2015 to provide services to preserve and encapsulate my placenta. She was very professional, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. She provided instructions prior to delivery so I was prepared. She came to the hospital to pick up the placenta and it was returned to me, encapsulated, very quickly. The price was fair too! Very reliable and personable and I highly recommend her services.
Our experience with Jen was one of a kind and unforgettable! From the first time I met her I knew she was the one for me, I knew I wanted her support during my VBAC.
Jen has such a comforting demeanor and very knowledgeable in regards to labor and breastfeeding. During labor my parents and husband remember how loving and caring she was. Till this day I believe that without her my VBAC wouldn’t have been such a successful story.
If I ever have another baby I know I will have her by my side.
Jen was an amazing source of support throughout my pregnancy & delivery- I would hire her again in a heartbeat! She was current on research, well-networked with other doulas and midwives, and very responsive to my millions of questions. Her background in counseling was a real plus when working with busy doctors & nurses during delivery, too. As a single mother, it was a gift to have such a supportive prescence during delivery. Cannot recommend her strongly enough!
I simply cannot imagine my last pregnany or the birth of my daughter without Jen's strength, guidance, and support. She and my husband were a dream team for me. I could not have hoped for more from anyone. Jen's passion for helping women believe in themselves and for going above and beyond to help mamas achieve the birth experience that they desire is evident in everything she does. Jen is an extremely dedicated professional; she is on a constant quest to learn more and to be the ultimate resource that all mamas deserve. I could not recommend Jen more highly. I would be happy to share more about my experience as Jen's client anytime if you would like to get in touch. I can promise you that you will be in good hands with Jen as your doula. Her warmth, intelligence, and passion will be a wonderful asset and essential part of your upcoming motherhood experience.
Jennifer was a wonderful doula and we really benefited from her support. My husband and I were initially unsure whether or not we really needed a doula, and we were so glad we decided to have Jennifer on our team! She helped us prenatally develop a birth plan and vision, and was on call and online to give us information and guidance. When I began my long labor, she was with us for the duration - first on the phone and then at the hospital. I really appreciated her calm, knowledgeable presence, especially as my labor became more intense. She offered me great pain coping ideas and support -including massage, aromatherapy, heat, ice, positioning and more. After the birth, she supported me with help initiating breast-feeding. She visited us a few days after we got home to check in about our adjustment. She was a great support at this time of big life change and we really appreciated having her aboard. We highly recommend her as a doula!
