Attends hospital births? All Hospitals
I’m comfortable supporting births at hospitals. We’ll stay in touch by phone while you labor at home, and I’ll meet you there when you’re ready, or come to you first and travel in together. At the hospital, I work alongside your nurses and doctors. I don’t make medical decisions; I help you understand what’s being offered so you can ask questions and choose what’s right for you. Some hospitals limit how many support people you can have, so we’ll check their policy ahead of time and plan around it.

Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers
Birth centers tend to be calm and cozy settings. Your midwife leads your care, and I focus on comfort: positioning, the tub, counter pressure, and keeping the room peaceful. We’ll talk with your midwife beforehand about when to head in, and I can labor with you at home until it’s time.

Attends home births? Any Home Birth
At home, you have your own space, your own bed and your own routine, and I’ll help you make the most of that. Your midwife is responsible for your medical care, and I’m there for comfort, reassurance, and support for your partner. Before the birth, we’ll go over where you’d like to labor and what supplies you’ll need. We’ll also talk through what happens if you need to transfer to a hospital. If that happens, I’ll go with you and keep your wishes in the room.

Fee Details

Birth Doula ($900): Three prenatal visits to build your birth plan, on-call support from 38 weeks, continuous hands-on labor support from active labor through delivery, comfort measures and advocacy with your care team, one postpartum visit within two weeks, and phone/text support throughout. Postpartum Only ($850): One prenatal planning visit, 20 hours of in-home support used flexibly day or night, newborn care and feeding guidance, recovery help with rest, meals and light housework, check-ins through six weeks, and referrals for lactation, pelvic floor and mental health care. Birth + Postpartum ($1,400): Everything in Birth Doula, plus 20 hours of postpartum support, newborn and recovery care, six weeks of check-ins, and priority scheduling. Saves $350 over booking separately. A $250 deposit reserves your due-date window. Payment plans and sliding-scale spots may be available. Book by December 31, 2026 to lock in these rates.
