Before becoming a postpartum doula, I spent over a decade working with children and families, including experience as a nanny and as a preschool teacher working with children with disabilities. My childcare background has given me extensive hands-on experience caring for infants, toddlers, and young children while supporting the families around them. I bring that practical experience into my postpartum work, helping families with newborn care, older siblings, household tasks, and the day-to-day realities of adjusting to life with a new baby. I'm also a volunteer with the International Cesarean Awareness Network!
I want every family to feel confident and supported as they plan for their postpartum care. Here’s a clear breakdown of how my services work and what you can expect. I offer flexible postpartum support tailored to your family’s needs. My current schedule options are: Mixed shifts: Three 4-hour daytime shifts + one 10-hour overnight shift per week. Daytime-only shifts: Four 4-hour daytime shifts per week. Nighttime-only shifts: Two 10-hour nighttime shifts per week. Packages are available for 2–12 weeks postpartum, depending on your needs. Rates: Daytime shifts: $40/hour. Nighttime shifts: $50/hour. For more information, feel free to request a copy of my contract!

Post a testimonial for Lillian Hazen

Lillian helped my family as we welcomed home our second baby. We were in a crazy time as we already had a 15 month old and were in the process of moving out of state. Lillian came to our home to support with our new baby while we managed packing and navigating two young children. Lillian went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. She took initiative, and really cared for my new baby. She is empathetic and intuitive. Not only can she confidently care for a newborn, she is a great person to confide in to talk about your stress and worries during an exhausting life change. I genuinely don't think I would have survived the first couple weeks postpartum without her support!
