Aubrey was awesome. We were pretty nervous going into the newborn stage, especially with bottle feeding. Neither of us really knew what we were doing. She walked us through all of it: bottles, feeding schedules, what's normal and what's not. She was super patient and never made us feel dumb for asking questions. After working with her we felt confident instead of just guessing. If you're on the fence about hiring a postpartum doula, just do it. Aubrey is a great newborn care specialist.

Before working with Aubrey at Aura Doula Services, I had no idea just how much I didn’t know about birth and postpartum as a first-time mom. I wanted to feel prepared and confident, but there were so many unknowns that it was hard to know what to expect. Aubrey helped me navigate those unknowns before they became overwhelming, making sure I understood my options and felt empowered to make decisions for myself and my baby. But the moment I will never forget was when she first walked into my hospital room at 1 a.m. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and facing one of the biggest moments of my life. The second she walked through that door, something shifted. She brought a sense of peace, comfort, and reassurance that I honestly cannot put into words. I felt seen, understood, and cared for in a way I desperately needed. In that moment, I knew I wasn’t alone and that I could do this. Aubrey gave me the confidence to focus on bringing my baby into the world while knowing I had someone I trusted by my side. Her support didn’t stop at birth, either. She seamlessly transitioned from being my birth doula to supporting me as a breastfeeding doula, postpartum doula, and newborn specialist.
