Hilary helped us welcome both our little ones. She is warm, caring, and passionate about supporting families who are expecting. From the start, she provided us with immeasurable comfort as we contemplated what life would be like as first time parents. Even with reading all the pregnancy and birth books, Hilary's presence made the academic exercise of what to expect realistic. She was instrumental in assuring I got the care I needed for my first birth, which helped me avoid a c-section. When it was time to deliver or second, Hilary was already at the ER awaiting for us to make our check-in as smooth as possible. We're grateful to have had her by our side and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula.

Hilary is an absolutely amazing doula! She supported me through two pregnancies and births and was unbelievably helpful throughout both. She walked me through every question and concern I had, was always willing to provide insight and guidance, and was extremely responsive and ready to spring into action as soon as I went into labor.  She is extremely knowledgeable about all things pregnancy and birth related and was able to advise me at some of the most challenging moments of my life. I can't imagine what it would have been like to have given birth without her and I highly recommend her to all pregnant moms!

I do not feel as though I could have gotten through my birth without Hilary - and it was my second baby! She was an amazing advocate. The doctors thought that it'd be a while 'til I had to push and left to go perform a c-section while I got an epidural. The epidural didn't work and I ended up needing to push about 15 minutes after they left my room. Hilary went running down the hall to get the doctor, who came back and about 15 minutes later my daughter was born. It was so wonderful to feel like someone was in control and I did not have to worry about anything. She also knew the nurses and office staff, which made me feel really comfortable. She's also kind, funny and really listened to what I wanted for my birth. She also supported my husband extremely well and it really felt like he was a part of everything, rather than some doula's where they give the husband less agency. I really couldn't say enough amazing things about her.

I can't say enough amazing things about Hilary. I was so happy that we found her and that she was there to help me deliver my first baby. As a first time mom, I had a lot of feelings around delivery. Hilary was amazing from the very beginning. I looked forward to our meetings leading up to delivery and felt like I always left them feeling confident, ready and my questions answered. 

During labor and delivery Hilary was calm, supportive and used her experience to help me move through labor. When it came time to make decisions, on what to do next during labor, she was extremely helpful and I believe helped me have the best possible birth experience.

I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone! She is the best!

Hilary was my doual in May 2025 when I gave birth to my first child. She made my labor and delivery such a beautiful experience. I started having contractions in the middle of the night and still she picked up the phone as soon as I called. I was able to labor at home for about six hours before we headed to the hospital. Once there, Hilary knew everyone and was able to articulate my birth plan, so I didn't have to focus on communicating. She helped me through some difficult contractions for hours and told my husband what to do so he could best support me. Honestly without her, I would've been yelling at my husband, but there was no yelling and no stress! When it came time to push, Hilary told my husband exactly what to do and supported me the whole time. I am so thankful that she was there; it was one of the best days of my life. She also continued to offer support after I gave birth. When I needed some extra help at home, she found a reliable postpartum doula and stayed in touch. I highly recommend Hilary for anyone, whether it's your first baby, or your third!

Hilary supported me as my birth doula for the birth of my second child in 2023, and she was so exceptional that I hired her again for the birth of my third child in 2026.  I cannot recommend her enough, and I cannot imagine those births without her.  She is dependable, positive, compassionate, and non-judgmental.  She supported me throughout my pregnancies with in-person meetings, phone calls, and texts, and she met me in front of the hospital (Phelps) both times.  She visited me at home after I gave birth to ensure I was okay.  She was extremely knowledgable about all of my medical providers (the midwives at Harrison and the nurses/doctors at Phelps) and helped me navigate some complicated dynanics.  She ensured my husband felt supported and knew how to best support me through both births.  She is deeply connected to the perinatal support community in Westchester and connected me to other fabulous women who also supported me in my journey.  Hilary, thank you for everything you have done for me and my family.

Hilary was my doula in September 2024. I felt like Hilary always made difficult medical topics and procedures feel more accessible and less scary. She was always ready with support and always had a backup when plans changed, which was great because birth never goes to plan! I gave birth at Phelps hospital and all the people in L&D also loved her and it felt good knowing there was a relationship there. I'd recomend Hilary, and especially her birth class (which is how we found her).

Hilary is an absolutely incredible doula. She is so reassuring, funny, calm, and very attuned to what I needed both in the months leading up to labor and throughout my labor and birth. I had a challenging moment with one of the midwives who was on call at the hospital for my birth, and Hilary handled all of the communication so that I felt empowered and heard. I felt so safe with her. I will absolutely be hiring her for my second baby as well. I cannot recommend her enough.

She knew exactly what to get at the right time and was an unwavering support. I would HIGHLY recommend Hilary as a doula and for her class! As our doula, she helped my husband and I so much throughout my first pregnancy and postpartum. She’s super down to earth without being too “crunchy”, and has a great personality- we clicked with her right away. Super friendly and funny. Any questions I had she answered- always got back to me quickly. Hilary gave me the tips and resources I needed to help me make informed decisions during pregnancy and for my birth plan- while also respecting my opinions/choices. My first contraction was at 4am- she answered me right away and drove to the hotel (where I labored for about two hours before going to the birth center- we lived far from the area). She was there not only for me, but for my husband as well- guiding him on ways to help me during my labor- and boy was I grateful for that! Hilary did this in a discrete manner- not being overbearing what so ever. My husband told me afterwards how happy he was to have Hilary there to help him because as first time parents- we both didn’t know what to expect! You prepare for this moment but let’s be honest- it can all go out the window in the heat of the moment. She also stayed with us postpartum to assist us with breast feeding. I’ve had to ask her several questions postpartum regarding our breast feeding journey. One of the things I’m most grateful for, is how Hilary took a bunch of amazing photos during my labor and delivery -obviously with my consent- we discussed this prior to labor. I will forever cherish the awesome moments she was able to capture of my husband and I with our baby. I have since recommended Hilary to a bunch of my friends :)

I absolutely loved working with Hilary! She is incredibly supportive, non-judgmental, and truly makes you feel comfortable with whatever type of birth you are hoping for. Leading up to my delivery, she was always available when I had questions, and I really valued her perspective and advice.

She is so knowledgeable, not just about the birth process, but also about how the hospital actually works. She knew exactly where things were, how different processes worked, and just generally felt like a total pro. Having someone who knew the hospital so well was such a huge comfort.

I also can’t say enough good things about her involvement during our actual delivery. She helped communicate with the medical staff, made sure I was being heard and understood, and was such a calm and supportive presence throughout everything. She also helped us so much with nursing afterward, which I really appreciated.

10/10 would recommend her to anyone looking for a doula. We loved working with her so much that we are working with her again for our upcoming delivery this December!

Hilary is the absolute best. She supported me during the birth of our first child, and her support was essential. She is warm, has a great sense of humor, and is very knowledgable. She met with us over the phone and in person before the baby was born, giving us lots of insight into what to expect when we went to the hospital, and how to mentally and physically prepare for the various different ways that the birth might go, and asking us questions to make sure she could support our preferences. Luckily for me she knew the hospital that I was delivering at (Phelps) very well, including knowing many of the staff. She has a great reputation with the Midwives at Harrison who practice at Phelps and were my providers -- they all were very supportive when I told them that Hilary was my doula.

During the birth process, Hilary was such a powerful guiding and calming presence. Even when things didn't go as expected, I felt reassured knowing that Hilary was there -- I trusted her insight into what was happening, and how to process it. She stayed with us until the baby was born. I'm so thankful that Hilary was there in the first few hours of my daughter's life. If we ever have a second child, I would absolutely want Hilary to be our doula again.

Practical but prepared for any direction. Gentle & kind. But direct if the situation calls for it. Experienced. Hilary was absolutely instrumental in helping me have the birth experience I wanted. I unexpectedly had to be induced, which was not part of my original plan, but Hilary coached me through every step and helped me stay on track with my goal of having a natural, unmedicated birth.

From helping me create my birth plan beforehand to advocating for me with the doctors and nurses during labor, she was an incredible source of support and guidance. Throughout the induction and delivery, she helped me understand my options, coached me through contractions, and guided me into different positions to help labor progress naturally.

I truly do not think I could have had the unmedicated birth I wanted without her. She was calm, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive, but she was also fun, funny and so easy to connect with. From the beginning, I felt like I had known her forever and that she was completely in my corner, which made such a difference during such an intense and personal experience. She also followed up with me postpartum, which I really appreciated.

I would 100% recommend Hilary to anyone looking for support during pregnancy and delivery, no matter what your birth goals are. I am so grateful she was there for my baby's birth and will absolutely be calling her for any future pregnancies!

I truly don't think there are enough words to describe how incredible Hilary is. I can honestly say I would not have been able to get through my birth experience without her. I had a very long labor, lasting around 60 hours, and my son decided to arrive two weeks early. By the time we called Hilary to let her know I had been admitted to the hospital, she was already attending another birth for a mom who was two weeks overdue. Thankfully, we had already met her backup doula, who was prepared to step in if needed. But Hilary went above and beyond in every possible way. After being up for another birth, she managed to squeeze in a couple of hours of sleep before coming to be with me and then stayed by my side for close to 48 hours, running on virtually no sleep herself.

Hilary was my rock, my advocate, and my biggest source of strength. She was endlessly patient, compassionate, and supportive. At one point, I actually yelled at my husband for touching me because I only wanted Hilary! That alone says everything about how safe and comfortable she made me feel.

Throughout my labor, she advocated for me with the hospital staff, looked out for my comfort and best interests, and never once left me feeling alone. Even during the exhausting hours of pushing, she continued to encourage me, remind me of my strength, and help me believe in myself. There was never any judgment, only genuine care and support.

I truly cannot imagine going through that experience without her. Any woman would be incredibly lucky to have Hilary by her side during birth. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to hire her again, and I will forever be grateful for everything she did for me and my family.

Hilary is an amazing doula, whom I highly recommend. She guided me through my pregnancy as a first time mom-to-be and was always available when I had questions or fears. She even connected me with wonderful midwives to facilitate a home birth--which she stayed by my side throughout. Hilary always made me feel supported and understood, and I would definitely work with her again!

Hilary was wonderful to work with throughout my first pregnancy! In the last month, we had to switch plans to a C-section, and Hilary pivoted seemlessly with us.  We used Hilary for the births of both of our boys and couldn't have been happier with our choice. She is everything you'd want in a doula and more: smart, informed, balanced, kind, patient, and down-to-earth. My two births couldn't have been more different—an unplanned C-section for my first and a successful VBAC for my second—and she walked with me every step of the way like a trusted friend who happens to be a true expert. I tend to over research things and worry myself, but I was able to let that go throughout my pregnancies and births because I trusted Hilary implicitly. I felt completely heard and supported no matter what was thrown our way. She is TRULY the best hire we’ve made in our parenting journey, and we enthusiastically recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Hillary was both amazing and kind, she really helped me through my pregnancy and the labor of my son... She drove over an hour in a snowstorm to sit with me for days.

My son was sunny side up so he was giving us a really hard time. Making the process really long and excruciating and I had to make quick decisions and change my birth plan but she was there to support me the whole entire way. 

I'll also never forget the next morning after I finally got home. She came by with a whole box of muffins and biscuits and scones from a local bakery.. and at the time I didn't realize how bad I really needed to eat.. or how I was going to even find the time to make food cuz I was so exhausted. 

If you are considering getting a doula I highly recommend her. She is loved by many in our community and helped us all bring babies into this world!!

My experience with Hilary went above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. Before birth, she shared so many resources that helped me feel informed and prepared. While I was laboring at home, she stayed in close contact through texts and phone calls, reassuring me, helping me work through contractions, and guiding me with breathing techniques. Her support, even over the phone, was incredible.

During the birth, she was exactly the calm, reassuring presence my husband and I needed. She has a special way of knowing what a mom needs in each moment while also making her partner feel supported and included.

After birth, her support as a lactation consultant was invaluable. She helped me through challenging moments in my feeding journey, even after her work as my doula had ended. Hilary consistently goes above and beyond because she truly cares about each family she supports. She helped me have the birth I had always dreamed of, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Hilary was an incredible advocate, resource and support for this first time mom! She was so genuine, kind and understanding, helping me sort through early induction recommendations. She guided but was never forceful and I always felt confident about our decisions. She advocated for MY experience during the labor, and staying right by my side when I needed urgent attention after delivering. The medical team was moving so fast, and my husband was with the baby at the warmer, so it was absolutely invaluable to have Hilary as a comfort but also translating everything that was happening in a calm and reassuring way. Between all of this she even managed to take candid birth photos that are priceless and even stayed long enough to help me get baby latched. I can't recommend her enough.

There are not enough positive words to describe how incredible Hilary is as a doula. I truly can’t imagine my birth experience without her — it absolutely would not have been as calm and stress-free as it was without her on our team.

We were in frequent contact leading up to my birth, and Hilary is an absolute wealth of knowledge. She answered every question, eased so many of our worries, and made me feel completely prepared and supported. I never thought that as a first-time mom I would feel as calm as I did going into labor, and I credit so much of that to her.

At the hospital, she was incredible. She made me feel at ease every step of the way, took the time to explain what was happening, advocated for my comfort, and somehow always knew exactly what I needed. It was also so clear that the hospital team knows and loves her — there was such a warm, genuine energy throughout the entire experience.

Her support didn’t end after the birth either. She continued to check in and made me feel so cared for during those early postpartum days. Even my husband says there is no way he could have done it without her!

Hilary truly is the best of the best, and we feel so lucky to have found her. I could not recommend her more highly to anyone looking for a doula.

I am extraordinarily grateful to have worked with Hilary during the birth of our son. Though I was healthy throughout my pregnancy, my son had serious health issues that were discovered in utero. We had a lot of nervousness regarding the birth, as we knew he would be immediately vulnerable and need to go to the NICU (he is doing well now!). Hilary's support was truly invaluable in overcoming that fear. I don't think I would have had such a positive birthing experience without her. Her expertise, calm, and support for both me and my husband was beyond anything we could have hoped for. I can't imagine the experience without her! Thank you, Hilary.

I cant say enough good things about Hilary. She is incredibly knowledgeable and is truly and expert at what she does. Leading up to my birth, she explained how things would go and what to expect. During my birth, she was my advocate to medical personnel and translated "medical talk" to my husband which went a long way after I needed an emergency c-section. After my birth, she checked in on me at home, brought food, and helped me breastfeed. She was an amazing support and advocate at a time when I was extremely vulnerable and scared. I couldn't have done it without her and I am incredibly grateful to her!

We were referred to Hilary from our midwives with our first pregnancy. We connected and quickly saw why! She is a calming energy that you need for your birth- she'll meet you for any birth plan you have and support whatever path you choose to bring your baby into the world. She was a great friend to have in the delivery room and helped with both our kids- she's calm, supportive and funny and helped get through the twists and turns that labor can bring. With my first, we faced some unexpected complications and she was able to help explain what they meant for labor and what options I might have. I felt like Hilary took all the stress off my plate and I only needed to focus on delivering the baby- it was so important. With my second, Hilary coached me through different laboring positions and I got to have a nice, peaceful birth and it set the tone for a great recovery as well. If I was crazy enough to have a third, Hilary would be my first call. She is incredibly talented at what she does and I was so lucky to have her on our team!

Hilary was my birth doula for my second son in the fall of 2023. I was referred to her by my midwife and while I spoke with 3-4 others, I knew immediately that Hilary was the one for me. I'm an RN, and while I was striving for a birth without an epidural and as few interventions as possible, it was important to me to have someone who understood evidence-based care and knew how to work collaboratively with hospital staff. She was exactly who I was looking for and I had an incredible, fulfilling, healing birth thanks to her. My first birth wasn't what I had hoped for and I felt like she really understood how important this was to me - I felt incredibly nurtured and safe with her by my side. She is calm, fun, funny, endlessly knowledgeable of course, and knows what you need before you need it. I am eternally grateful to her and would recommend her again and again!

Hilary is an absolutely incredible doula we would recommend to everyone! We were on the fence about whether we wanted a doula for our second birth (but absolutely certain after speaking with Hilary that she would be the doula for us) and we could not have done it without her. It was a very long and rocky experience and she helped us so much. Even the L&D nurse who initially told us we didn’t need a doula was completely won over. Hilary supported all of our decisions, helped us understand our options, and got me through when my epidural failed. She’s the best!

I had such a positive experience working with Hilary for my first birth. She traveled to NYC to support me and was very available, present, and supportive throughout the entire experience. I always felt like I could reach out to her when I needed her, and she helped translate the whole new language of pregnancy.

Hilary supported me through the birth of both of my kids - in December 2020 and in February of 2023. She was the absolute most calming presence through two stressful high risk pregnancies and helped to educate both my husband and I about how the childbirth process might go. This was especially helpful as my husband was not allowed to accompany me to doctor's appointments during the pandemic and she really helped demystify the hospital experience for us. When my son was in a breech position, Hilary helped me weigh the pros and cons of doing an ECV (an external cephalic version) and was instrumental in lowering my anxiety about a potential c-section. Then my water broke at 35 weeks so no ECV for me - but she was at my house reassuring within 10 minutes of my water breaking and helped keep the mood light while ushering us along to the hospital in a timely way. While I can't say it was a super calming experience to deliver a preterm baby in a pandemic, the c-section birth itself was so smooth because of Hilary's expectation setting, communication with my care team. Her presence with me allowed my husband to go check on the baby in the NICU and she was so great about checking in with us and with him before he was able to come home. When it came time to have a little brother, Hilary was the first person I told that I was pregnant (after my husband). She once again was a calming voice of reason, keeping the mood light and both of us informed, as we had a number of choices to make about the high risk pregnancy. Ultimately I delivered him by scheduled c section and it was again a wonderful experience thanks to Hilary's support. I would hire her in a heartbeat!

I am so glad that I found Hilary online prior to having my VBAC in July 2026. I had one prior C-section and always dreamed about being able to have a VBAC but knew I needed that extra support while in the delivery room. Hilary was absolutely incredible helping me through my labor and I swear she was the reason I was able to have the VBAC and it was everything I could have ever wished for! Hilary helped with pain management throughout and assisted me to be in the best and most optimal positions. She also was a great advocate to my care team in the hospital. My husband and I still talk about how wonderful she was and I would never want to have another future delivery without her! Even though I had only met Hilary the day of my delivery, I felt like I had known her forever. She has a very calm demeanor which is helpful during such a potentially scary time. Thank you Hilary for being there for me during one of the most important times in my life!
