I met Michelle at a community baby shower and I wasn't looking for a doula but my doctor suggested it so I went to her station to check it out and she just caught my eye and we instantly connected. I love working with Michelle because she doesn't judge me because I'm young, to me she gives me that auntie vibes and  that tough love. She pushes me to the best of my ability. She makes sure your okay, your good. she's definitely going to tell you that you should open up to resources and try different things. She was very helpful during my delivery process she was by my side during the whole c section and kept checking on me. I was going through a lot of pain she kept talking me through it. When I didn't want to eat she made me drink that broth. What I'm saying is she is the most supportive person I have ever had and it's in her job description but she truly care for what she loves to do and she made it feel like we were family:)??.

I met Michelle through my doula and ended up getting her as my bonus doula-- and I feel so lucky that I did. She is a genuinely warm human being who really cares about her moms and babies. I was all the things when I was pregnant (SO scared, anxious, nervous, self-conscious, naive, unprepared, etc.). I was also overwhelmed which led to me being pretty spacey, but Michelle was so gentle and still named the things that would be helpful for me to face, practice, acknowledge and helped me stay present and prepared. Preparing for birth and the process of labor is such a profoundly intimate and vulnerable time that I was really going back and forth about even having strangers present. We ultimately ended up deciding to get a doula ft because my husband and I are first time parents and were really nervous. We already felt like we lucked out by finding the doula that we did. We could not imagine that we would get 2 people that we just felt so comfortable with. When my doula introduced us to Michelle during a movement class so was hosting, she was just so kind and warm that when my doula asked if we would be ok with her shadowing my birth, I did not hesitate to say yes. My little guy is so lucky to have entered the world with an additional 2 people who genuinely cared about his health and well-being. Birth was also the scariest thing I have ever been through, but having Michelle made it feel manageable. I cannot imagine having gone through birth without Michelle-- she was such a grounding and reassuring source of support. Every baby deserves to have someone like Michelle present during their birth.
Michelle also met me at my home to give me donor milk the night we discharged from the hospital when I told her how worried I was because my milk had not "come in" yet.

Michelle was my doula during the third trimester, and I truly felt so lucky and blessed to have her! She’s incredibly compassionate, understanding, patient, and just so kind. She came with me to my midwife appointments and ultrasounds at the hospital and offered unlimited availability through text messages or calls! When I went into labor, she was right on time at the hospital and gave me such great support during my birth. I’ll always remember her sweet, soft hands I held during each contraction, whispering to me, “Hold my hand” every time. I had a SUCCESSFUL VBAC with her as a doula!
After my baby was born, she came to visit in our home and I went to the ER where she stayed with me for almost 10 hours while my baby was at home!
She kept checking on me to make sure that I was ok!
My family was so grateful to have her as my doula!
You won’t be disappointed to work with her!!

Meeting Michelle and having her as my doula during the final weeks of my pregnancy was truly a blessing. She helped me in so many ways not just through her knowledge and experience, but through her leadership, understanding, support, and advocacy.

Michelle is the kind of doula who genuinely listens. She makes you feel heard, supported, and confident in your decisions while always making sure you understand your options. She is caring, intentional, and truly passionate about making sure you have the best and safest birth experience possible.

Throughout my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey, I could tell that she genuinely cared about me and my family. She advocated for me, encouraged me, answered my questions, and helped me feel prepared during a time when there can be so many emotions and uncertainties. She is a REAL one, and I am so grateful our paths crossed.

And her postpartum support has been just as meaningful. Her check-ins are so needed because people sometimes forget that moms need support AFTER the baby arrives too. Having someone check on you, listen to you, and make sure you’re truly okay means so much during those first weeks.

We are truly thankful to have had Michelle as our doula. She brought so much comfort, knowledge, encouragement, and genuine care to our experience. I would recommend her to any mama looking for someone who will not only support you, but truly advocate for you and walk alongside you through the entire journey. ??

As a first time dad, you want to be there for your partner but don't always have the expertise you need to help through pregnancy, birth and the first weeks of parenthood. Having Michelle along for our journey made a big difference for me because she has been through it all before. 

She helped me and my wife think through the birth that we wanted - and when things didn't quite go to plan, to be able to advocate effectively for my wife's wishes. 

She's stayed in touch afterwards and we're forever grateful for her support.
