Shy was an amazing doula for us first time parents! Thought us so much and we really appreciated her services. She was here for 6 months and our baby was already sleeping by 4 months. So grateful! She's very professional and always punctual which we really appreciate.

Me and my Wife were looking for a doula who had experience with twins  and preemies and when we found Shy it was an instant connection with the family. She was very professional and kind throughout the whole process, even when he had to delay the service she was understanding and when it came time to provide care we had complete trust in her taking care of our babies.  She also gave us great tips on how to schedule the twins feeding and sleep schedule for whenever she left. Would recommend 10/10.

Shy was my postpartum doula for about 8 months when my twins were just born, and honestly it was

a godsend! Ialready had a lot of problems sleeping during my

pregnancy and knew my husband and I would absolutely need the help. I was a bit anxious at first

with how the process would work in terms of pumping and feeding windows, but a friend had

recommended Shy, and during our initial meeting she answered literally every question I had,

which was a lot now that I think back to it, and reassured me on the whole process. It truly felt like I

was talking to a family member, and I appreciated that so, so much. During the rest of the 8

months, honestly, she’s just been perfect! She always knows what to prioritize with the twins for

feeding and changing, is always safe, and also educated us on safety guidelines for sleep, feeding,

and so forth since she knew they were our first, and just overall had been a central part of our

family. Being well rested had really allowed me to enjoy the daytime with my babies and appreciate

being a new mom.

So happy I picked Shy as my Doula. Unfortunately, my maternity leave was only about a

month, and I knew there was no way I would have been able to continue doing night shifts while

working. I found Shy from a referral, and she really helped make my night so much easier! While I

still had to wake up for breastfeeding, Shy was there for all the transitions and allowed me to really

get the most sleep I could by taking care of literally everything. Even just the fact that my pump

parts were always washed and ready to go made life so much easier! Even just watching her

holding my baby, I could tell that she truly does care, and just that alone let me know my baby was

always in good hands! Once again, thank you so much, Shy, couldn’t have done this without you!

I found Shy on Care.com when my husband and I were looking for an infant nanny at the beginning of last year. My daughter had colic at around 2 weeks old, and I was honestly a train wreck and didn’t know what to do. It still feels like a fever dream sometimes. I don’t know how she did it, but Shy managed to take over for us so we could get some sleep and gave us some techniques that she liked to use to help soothe. Honestly, for about 6 months, getting the sleep needed was such a relief, and thankfully the colic went away at 3 months. But throughout it all, Shy was there to help guide us and give us the assistance we desperately needed.
