Type of practice: Partnership with 1 other doula

Postpartum limits/restrictions: My postpartum doula practice is non-medical and focused on emotional, physical, informational, and practical support for the mother, baby, and family. I do not diagnose medical conditions, provide medical advice, perform clinical procedures, or administer medications. When needs arise outside my scope of practice, I encourage families to contact the appropriate medical provider and can help connect them with additional professional or community resources. I currently serve non-smoking households and require a smoke- and drug-free environment during all visits. For health and safety, I am unable to provide services in homes with indoor smoking, vaping, or recreational drug use. Pets are welcome as long as they can be safely managed during visits. Additional limitations or special circumstances can be discussed during our initial consultation to make sure we are a good fit.

Attends hospital births? All Hospitals
Postpartum Hospital Support: Postpartum doula support is available while you are still in the hospital, including newborn care and soothing, feeding and breastfeeding support, help with positioning and comfort, diapering and swaddling, assistance with rest and recovery, partner support, and helping you understand and keep track of the information and resources provided by your care team. I can also help you prepare for discharge and make the transition from hospital to home feel more manageable and supported.

Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers
Birth Center Support: Doula support is available for families planning to give birth at a birth center. Services may include prenatal preparation, support as labor begins at home, continuous emotional and physical support throughout labor and birth, comfort measures and positioning, partner support, and assistance with the transition home after delivery. I work alongside your midwife and birth center team while supporting your individual birth preferences and helping create a calm, encouraging environment.

Attends home births? Any Home Birth
Home Birth Support: Doula support is available for families planning to give birth at home. Services may include prenatal preparation, support as labor begins, continuous emotional and physical support throughout labor and birth, comfort measures and positioning, partner support, and assistance with postpartum recovery. I work alongside your midwife and birth team while supporting your individual birth preferences and helping create a calm, encouraging environment.

Relevant volunteer or advocacy work

My volunteer and advocacy work centers around supporting women, families, and animals in my community. I provide volunteer support to mothers during pregnancy and the postpartum period and have a long history of fostering and caring for rescue animals. I am passionate about connecting families with practical resources, education, and community support during major life transitions. As I continue developing professionally as a doula, I look forward to becoming more involved with organizations that advocate for mothers, babies, and families.

Fee Details

Postpartum Doula Rates: Daytime postpartum support is $45/hour, evenings and weekends are $50/hour, and overnight newborn support is $55–$60/hour. Holiday and last-minute support is available at $60–$70/hour. Package options are also available, including $175 for a 4-hour daytime visit and $440–$480 for an 8-hour overnight shift.
