Leslie was an incredible postpartum doula and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was always punctual, professional, and consistently wore a mask to keep our little one safe. From day one, she was so warm and gentle with our baby that we felt completely comfortable and confident leaving him in her care.

She took wonderful care of him every visit and always sent us detailed updates and reports, which gave us so much peace of mind. Beyond just childcare, Leslie was attentive to our family’s needs as new parents, offering helpful tips and reassurance during a time that can feel overwhelming. Her calm, caring presence made a real difference for our family, and we’re so grateful to have had her support during those early weeks.

We highly recommend Leslie to any family looking for a trustworthy, caring, and experienced postpartum doula.

We are so grateful to have had Kayla as our postpartum doula during such an important time for our family. She has been incredibly thoughtful, kind, and dependable from day one. What stood out the most was how naturally she knew how to soothe and care for our baby, it always felt like he was calm, safe, and comfortable with her.

Kayla never had to be told what needed to be done. She would always find ways to help around the house, stay one step ahead, and plan things in advance without us even having to ask. That level of thoughtfulness made such a huge difference, especially during those overwhelming newborn days.

She is such a sweet person to have around and brought a sense of calm and reassurance into our home. For any new mom, having someone like Kayla around helps you feel safe, supported, and gives you the confidence and time to recover while knowing your baby is in great hands.

We worked with Kayla as our night doula from birth through about 4 months, and I truly can’t imagine going through those early months without her. She was an incredible source of support, especially as I was learning to breastfeed—patient, knowledgeable, and always encouraging.

Beyond that, she helped me get the rest I so badly needed, which made a huge difference in my recovery and overall well-being. Kayla was also extremely flexible—when our baby arrived early, she adapted easily, and she was always accommodating when we needed to add extra nights or shift our schedule.

She brought a calm, reassuring presence into our home and made those overwhelming early months feel so much more manageable. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough to any new parent.

Kayla supported us after our first baby was born and has been providing very thorough services since our first meeting.
She kept a good track of her clients and constantly kept in touch with us even before baby was born, offering various educational resources and ensuring us to be fully prepared.
Later on she helped set up baby routines and showed us how to give baby showers, headwash, tummy time, paced feeding and more.
When the baby was having frequent refluxes she gave us some suggestions and helped overseeing doctor visits.
We really appreciate her detailed care throughout the baby’s first couple months and hope she can provide such quality service to more families in need.

We had fortune working with Leslie for our first newborn baby. Leslie taught us various things from how to set up baby room, prepare milk, conduct feeding, handle acnes and more.
She is very caring and energetic. Our baby smiled a lot when she was around and could fall asleep easily. She has in depth knowledge in many areas and oftentimes connected us with the right expertise when we needed more help. We highly recommend her as postpartum doula.

Kayla was our doula for the first month postpartum. She is an accomplished doula and an amazing person to have around when you are at your most vulnerable! Below are only a few reasons why:

1) Punctuality and Reliability: She was always on time (not even a minute late) and extremely reliable regarding days of work. She always communicated any change in plans early on and found replacements days and times.

2) Care for recovering mom: She was one of the greatest reasons that my recovery after birth (c-section) went smoothly. She made sure I was not moving around too much and always checked how my physical and emotional recovery was going. Also recommended things to ask OB to make sure recovery was on track.

3) Care for baby and teaching first time parents: She took care of my son since he was 3 days old. She is confident and careful and has lot of experience with newborns and infants. As a first time mom, I learned a ton from her about how to take care of my son and understand his newborn cues and needs. She also took initiative and took care of anything that needed to be done for the baby (laundry, dishwashing, etc) without the need for me giving specific instructions. She also maintained excellent hygiene which was important for my son in those early days. She was also always available on text for any support that we needed outside of the hours she was at our place.

Both my husband and I would highly recommend Kayla if you are looking for a doula who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and reliable. She sets the bar very high for childcare and doula support.

Thank you Kayla for all that you did for us. We are flourishing as first time parents because of you!!

9/29/2025 - I had another baby about a month ago and had Leslie help us again as an overnight postpartum doula. She is truly the best doula and has been such a wonderful and supportive person in our journey as second time parents. I slept so well every night that she came because I knew I could trust her completely and that my baby would be well taken care of. Any future families that get to work with her are truly lucky! Highly recommend.

November 2022 - I am so thankful to have found Leslie as our postpartum doula. She has taken amazing care of our newborn. I wish I knew about her before giving birth as it would have been a huge help to have her starting in the first month! She has the best, most kind and optimistic personality. She is so gentle and loving. I sleep peacefully at night knowing our baby is in wonderful hands. She answers all my questions and has such useful advice since I am a first time mom. She is always on time when coming to our place. She has done so much more than take care of our baby, including meal prep, tons of our and baby’s laundry + folding everything and putting things away and dishes + countless bottle and pump parts. She also made sure my water bottle was always filled when I came out to pump in the middle of the night and had the bottles set out so I could easily fill and refrigerate them afterwards. It was also so nice waking up to chores that would have otherwise been hard to get done during the day. She is also super quiet and keeps our baby calm at night so my husband and I never hear anything even though we live in a small 1 bedroom condo. She always sent a super detailed report in the morning of how our baby did during the night and anything she observed. She has been a great support person for my family and I. If we have another baby, I will definitely want to work with Leslie as our postpartum doula again! I cannot say enough great things about our experience with her.

My partner and I recently welcomed our first child and were so grateful to have Kayla’s support during the first couple of months postpartum. Saying that Kayla is extremely professional would be an understatement – she went above and beyond what we expected!

Hiring a doula means inviting someone into a very vulnerable (and joyful!) time in your life, and Kayla excels at providing compassionate care. She was incredibly flexible with our changing schedule during labor and delivery, ensuring we could fully utilize her support. She checked in on everyone’s well-being – mental and physical health – offering non-judgmental support that was invaluable.

Kayla is also dedicated to helping you achieve your goals for postpartum care. She was readily available via text for quick questions and thoughtful conversations, which proved unexpectedly helpful as a resource we could turn to. Importantly, she maintained healthy boundaries by deferring medical advice while clearly demonstrating her experience and knowledge in all other areas.

When navigating the sleep deprivation and emotional changes of welcoming a child, you won’t regret having Kayla in your corner. We highly recommend her!

As first-time parents, we knew we’d need extra support in those early weeks at home. We were fortunate to have Kayla begin with us right away, which gave us a few precious hours of rest knowing our baby was in safe hands. Even after prenatal classes and family support, having her come regularly made a huge difference. She guided us through the basics—diapering, burping positions, bathing—which helped us gain confidence handling such a tiny newborn. Our baby lost weight initially and was often fussy in the evenings; Kayla carefully monitored changes we might have missed and even stayed for an extended shift so she could watch the baby through the evening, ensuring we had the right information to share with our pediatrician.

Kayla is proactive and thoughtful. When the baby slept, she would wash bottles, fold baby laundry, and check in about what else we needed. She also went above and beyond by helping capture sweet family moments in photos. Beyond her skills, her calm presence and encouragement reassured us daily.

We are deeply grateful for Kayla’s support—she not only cared for our baby but also empowered us as new parents. I highly recommend her to anyone considering postpartum doula care.

Kayla supported us for 5 daytime sessions in the first few weeks of our daughter's life, including our first day at home after getting back from the hospital when we were feeling totally overwhelmed. We don't have family locally, so it was so nice having someone to support us. Kayla was such a calming presence that taught us so much in those early days - burping, diaper changes, breastfeeding tricks, tummy time, and more. We started each session going over any questions we had and what we hoped she could help with that day. I felt totally at ease leaving her with our baby while we napped. Kayla is kind, reliable, responsible, and knows a ton about babies. She's also incredibly efficient with the time, getting a ton done in a short amount of time (meal prep, laundry, playing with the baby, making lactation cookies & overnight oats, etc). We're hoping to use her on occasion as well for babysitting!

If you want support in the early postpartum days, would definitely recommend Kayla.

We had a great experience with Kayla as our doula during the first four months of our son's life.

Kayla is easy to talk to, professional, and very knowledgeable. She has extensive experience, having worked as a nanny since she was 13, and comes from a family of doulas. She provided us with valuable information as first-time parents, covering postpartum recovery, breastfeeding techniques, bottle feeding, pumping, baby care, and even the emotional aspects of new parenthood.

She visited twice a week from 10 PM to 6 AM, taking care of our baby throughout the night. She was flexible and accommodating, adjusting to our changing routines, whether that was breastfeeding, bottle feeding, or experimenting with different diaper-changing timings. If I was breastfeeding, she would wake me when needed, and when we used bottles, she covered the full night. She also took the initiative to do quiet household tasks like laundry, which was very helpful.

Each night, Kayla kept detailed notes on feeding times, diaper changes, and the baby’s overall behavior, ensuring we had a clear record of our baby's patterns. She also followed up with a morning message, answering any questions we had and often sharing additional resources, such as useful baby care tools.

Kayla’s support made a significant difference in our first few months as parents. Beyond just providing care, she helped us build knowledge and confidence in handling our newborn. We would absolutely hire her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and supportive doula.

My wife and I trust Leslie completely. She is an amazing doula, extremely reliable, knowledgeable, and helpful. She has helped us with both of our children, and was amazing for both me and my wife. It was always a huge relief when she came every night, as we knew that were in good hands. I cannot recommend her enough.

We had the most amazing experience with Leslie as our postpartum doula. This was our third kid and I never used a night doula with my others, but we were struggling so much the first few weeks with the lack of sleep and taking care of our two older kiddos. We were at a breaking point until Leslie came. She is the kindest, most supportive person and I had full confidence in her taking amazing care of our baby which allowed me to rest. I was finally able to get good chunks of sleep which helped my mood and made me a better mom to all my kids.
Leslie always showed up ready to work. She was so knowledgeable about how to keep my baby with reflux comfortable and gave me great advice on how we could manage this. Not only did she take great care of my little one, but she went above and beyond to prep things at night so our next morning was easier. She would empty our dishwasher and prep my older boys lunches for the next day so that the next morning was smooth as we tried to get the big kids to school.
I can’t recommend Leslie enough. If you are debating on whether a postpartum doula is worth it, I promise it is! I am so thankful for Leslie for providing the support when we needed it the most!

Leslie has supported our family twice now - first as a nighttime postpartum doula for our oldest (3 years old) and just recently for the birth of our 2nd little one. She also was our sibling doula for our toddler when I went into labor.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Leslie. We’ve recommended her to all our friends. Leslie’s presence is warm, bubbly, calm, and comforting. She’s an expert on all things related to babies and just amazing with our toddler as well. She’s 100% reliable and we trust her completely with our kids.

Leslie not only provided us much needed sleep, but also did laundry and dishes and generally tied up around the house without us needing to mention anything. She was more knowledgeable and helpful than any family member could have been.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Kayla as our postpartum doula for the first six weeks after the arrival of our newborn daughter, and we cannot recommend her enough. Kayla is not only highly professional but also incredibly warm and caring. She took amazing care of our little one and became an integral part of our family during this time.
Kayla was always punctual, and in just a few hours each day, she accomplished an impressive amount of tasks. Her productivity and efficiency made a huge difference in our daily lives. Beyond that, her extensive knowledge and readiness to share helpful information gave us confidence as new parents.
If you're looking for compassionate, knowledgeable, and reliable postpartum support, Kayla is simply the best. She truly made our lives so much easier, and we are so grateful for her support!

We cannot recommend Leslie highly enough! She took care of our newborn daughter 2-3 nights a week for the first 12 weeks. From the moment she walked into our home, her calming presence and bright smile put us at ease during what can often feel like a chaotic and exhausting time with a newborn. She is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and patient, making the nights feel so much more manageable. Leslie has an almost magical way with babies, soothing our little one with such love and care that we could truly rest knowing they were in the best hands. She also offered helpful advice and resources on sleep patterns, feeding techniques, and overall baby care that has made a world of difference for us as new parents. Her professionalism and kindness exceeded our expectations, and we are so grateful for the peace of mind she brought into our home. Leslie not only took loving care of our baby but went above and beyond by tidying up our home, doing laundry, washing bottles and pump parts, cutting up fruit and making lactation cookies, keeping mom hydrated, taking beautiful photos, sending detailed notes the following morning, and checking in on us even on the days she wasn’t with us. If you’re considering a postpartum doula, look no further—Leslie is an absolute gem! Hiring Leslie was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. She is such a joy to be around and we miss her every day.

Leslie is a wonderful doula that we were lucky to work with twice! Once during the pandemic when we welcomed our daughter and now most recently with our son. She is reliable, warm and truly has a gift in supporting new parents and families.   It is thanks to her that we made it out of the newborn trenches-- twice! She truly enjoys what she does and this is evident in her work. I would recommend her to anyone seeking support and doula services.

We’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with Kayla as our doula for the past few weeks, and we couldn’t be happier with her support! As first-time parents, we were initially overwhelmed, but Kayla has been such a calming and resourceful presence throughout. She communicates clearly, is incredibly knowledgeable, and has guided us step-by-step through feeding, burping, bathing, and even playing with our baby.

What stands out the most is how much we trust her. She’s fantastic with our baby, which has been such a relief. Kayla has truly made this new chapter of our lives so much easier, and we can’t recommend her enough!

We are incredibly grateful for Kayla's support during the first six weeks of my postpartum journey. As first-time parents, we needed more than just an extra set of hands to help with our newborn; we also needed guidance on how to care for our baby. Kayla provided both. From feeding and burping to bathing, she taught us so much about caring for a newborn. When her shift ended, our baby was calm, the bottles were clean, and the laundry was done. Kayla is also very communicative, flexible with her schedule, and exceptionally resourceful. We highly recommend her to any new parents like us.

I had the pleasure of working with Kayla for eleven weeks as she helped care for my newborn, and I can't recommend her enough. She is incredibly punctual, knowledgeable, and always goes above and beyond in answering any questions I had. Her ability to deep dive into topics and provide thorough, thoughtful responses was invaluable. Most importantly, she took excellent care of my baby, showing genuine care and attention in every interaction. If you're looking for someone reliable and dedicated, Kayla is the one to trust.

I had the pleasure of having Leslie take care of my newborn daughter for 4 weeks. Throughout her time with us, I was continually impressed by her kindness, patience, and sense of humor. Leslie was always punctual and showed great respect for our family's cultural differences. One of the highlights was the lovely photos she took for our family when my daughter reached one month old, which we will cherish forever. I also gained a wealth of parenting tips from her, which have been incredibly helpful. Her professionalism and dedication truly made a difference in our early parenting journey. I highly recommend Leslie to any family in need of support.

4/29/2024

Leslie is not only an incredible doula, but she is also one of the most loving and nurturing humans on the planet. She was a tremendous help right after I had our baby, doing night shifts and helping around in any and every way she could. Beyond cleaning, cooking, and doing laundry, she'd organize packages, baby clothes, and find resources for any questions we had about breastfeeding, transitioning our baby to solids, allergies, you name it. We loved her so much, we ended up working w/ her long after our baby girl turned 1yo! At this point, she is more than "doula care," she is family to us. I cannot recommend Leslie enough, though I do fear that if others reach out, she'll get too busy and won't be able to see us anymore! ??

UPDATE: I needed to write a follow-up to my review for Leslie because I really cannot overstate how wonderful she is! We had another baby girl in 2023 and we would not have survived w/o Leslie's support. Our toddler got Hand, Foot, Mouth Disease right before our second was born, so we had to quarantine for the first ~9 days of her life. I was changing all of our newborn's diapers when I was supposed to be resting and staying horizontal (as my husband was w/ our sick toddler) and it was far from ideal. Leslie's overnights were truly life-saving and I think I would have fallen into some serious postpartum depression had she not been there.

She continued to keep our family afloat for the next many months, and at this point, has traveled internationally w/ us multiple times! When you bring Leslie into your home, she will find all the gaps that you weren't even aware of and fill them. She has incredible communication, endless energy, and can almost read minds. The only problem w/ hiring Leslie is that she will raise the bar too high making it near impossible to find the same quality of support and professionalism elsewhere.

We are lucky to have Leslie as our postpartum doula for the first 6 weeks. She is warm and extremely well communicated. She understood our needs for supports and was flexible with the starting date (knowing our delivery date was pending on monitored situations).
She stayed connected with us before our baby was born and started right after we were home the 2nd day (as we preferred). As new parents, it could be overwhelming for the first few weeks. But Leslie made it much easier for us to ramp up. She showed us those How-Tos and shared us lots of great online resources. Our baby is very gasy, but she taught us quite some tips that helped. For the overnight shifts, she always arrived on time and left us detailed notes when she left. She offered to help us some houseworks and shared some great lactation receipts, which we really appreciated.  We would definitely hire her again when needed, and would not hesitate to recommend her to our friend who are in need.

We had an awesome experience with Leslie and we feel lucky that we were able to find appointment slot with her. I will highly recommend to book her well in advance.

We had our 2nd baby in December 2023 and were looking for doula and got multiple great references for Leslie so we reached out to her and had initial consultation in which she asked us our top priorities for which we are looking for Doula and explained the whole process and responsibilities of doula. We took after birth doula services.

Main points:
1) Taking care of our daughter, new born.

2) Taking care of laundry (putting in washer and dryer and fold it), wash baby bottles, feed baby and snacks for daughter.

3) our biggest concern was handling our elder daughter and making her understand about this big change. Leslie is expert in that and helped make this transition very smoothly for her by engaging her with activities in taking care of baby as well as other play/painting etc activities.

4) taught us different positions to burp baby, how to give bath to baby, massage baby, things to do to make baby feel better when baby feeling gassy and many more tips around handling baby.

5) send us report of everything she did as well as photos she clicked so we know when baby had milk, diaper change, daughter had snacks etc.

6) She is a wonderful person, warm, caring and someone exactly with whom we felt comfortable leaving our daughter and newborn and able to sleep peacefully.

The best and smoothest days we had after baby birth was in the days Leslie came because she managed everything and we were able to get good rest. We are very happy with her services and felt like having a family member at home. We highly recommend having Leslie as Doula if you want have best experience and want to relax even after having a new born.

Kayla has been a wonderful postpartum doula to our baby boy. She was very professional both in her communication and manerisms. I have never someone anyone being so punctual and transparent about the scheduling. We learned a lot throughout and appreciated every minute of your help in these 5 weeks!

We heard about Leslie from a family member, who spoke very highly of Leslie. Our daughter was born six weeks early and had a three week stay in the NICU. Leslie was amazing at checking in with us and being flexible with when she started. Leslie helped with two overnights a week, and we looked forward to her nights with us. Not only did she take amazing care of our daughter, she was also encouraging, kind, and thoughtful in supporting my husband and me. She made me snacks, folded our laundry, and did everything she could to make our lives a little easier. Leslie went above and beyond in her support. She brought us small gifts and sent encouraging messages. Leslie also gave us helpful baby advice that proved to be really essential for us as new parents. Overall, she made our first six weeks as parents so much easier. If we have more kids, we will reach out to Leslie as soon as possible to work with her again. I highly recommend working with her.

We had Leslie come over for night shifts during the first few weeks postpartum. Having Leslie's support as a first time parent was incredible. Leslie is punctual, communicative, sweet, and caring. She helped us get some much needed sleep at night, assisted me with night nursing, tended to our baby, loved our senior dog, did our laundry (including folding and putting away!), and ensured I was fed and cared for. My husband and I felt a huge sense of relief every time Leslie was here. I was nervous in the beginning with my baby's acid reflux thought the night, and having her at our home to hold and care for our baby while we slept was wonderful. Night nursing can get very lonely, and having Leslie sit with me and talk with me as I nursed throughout the night was comforting. I really appreciated this time with Leslie and our talks about motherhood, baby development, and general tips on how to care for a newborn. She also refilled my drinks and fed me snacks as I nursed! My husband and I struggled to make decisions for our baby, and having Leslie as a sounding board was reassuring and helpful (tongue tie, feeds, CST, etc.). She's a baby expert and helped us understand what our baby was going through (feeds, acid reflux, tongue tie, sleep/naps, etc.). Her detailed notes of each shift were helpful as well. Leslie helped us build our confidence as parents. She's truly amazing and highly recommend her as a postpartum doula!

Leslie is wonderful! I was able to trust Leslie with my newborn during the night so I could get a chunk of sleep and recover because I knew she would be responsive and work with his reflux. She was so kind and respectful and such a warm
presence. It was like having a second mom here with us. If we have more kids, she will be the first person I call. She is knowledgeable and did everything she could to support us. My husband was initially skeptical of what a doula could provide, and after one or two days, he was completely on board.

Kayla was a tremendous help to our family in the post-partum period, and we would hire her again in a heartbeat! She worked with our infant from <1 week old to about 3 months. She was incredibly supportive and proactive, frequently anticipating our needs and working to make sure that every minute of her time spent with us was useful. She taught us many of the basics early on (swaddling, tips for bathtime, breastfeeding troubleshooting, paced bottle feeding), and as time went on she helped our baby to learn early independent sleep skills. She is incredibly efficient and I often marveled at how much she was able to get done in a short amount of time (meal prep, laundry, making lactation bites, etc). Kayla also babysat our daughter for two date nights in the early months, and we trusted her fully to be at home alone with our infant. Do not hesitate to hire her!

We had Kayla for postpartum support starting a few days after our first child was born, and till 2.5 months. She has a very helpful attitude. She was also kind, patient and gentle with the newborn as well as the mother. She provided us with practical advice on newborn care and shared resources for areas such as lactation. She was efficient and meticulous. We are most grateful for her flexibility with our unexpected early C-section. She was willing to work with us on changing the start dates and adding additional support.

A real life angel! We hired Leslie for care with our #3 child. With calm experience she helped me get into nursing and caring for my little guy within the week we brought him home. When it comes to daily questions- she offers simple smart advice and tips. Days when I was fatigued and did not know where to start- she would remind to me eat, rest and take care of myself. Having her sound expertise gave me confidence weekly and allowed me time with my other two little children when she could take care of the baby. Both my husband and I benefitted from the extra sleep and extra help around the house. I can't imagine having done this without her and wish I had met her sooner! She can do in one day what it takes us in 3 days to do without her.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Kayla after the birth of my first child. She was knowledgeable, caring and we received tremendous support from her during those early weeks of parenthood. My son had spit-up problem for a while and we were really worried. Kayla provided us with so much valuable information and helped us establish a feeding routine that worked great for my newborn. With her around, the baby is comfortable and we were at ease. We really appreciate her support and highly recommend her for anyone who's about to start this new phase of life.

We are so happy we hired Kayla for postpartum support. She was very professional, supportive and most importantly loves what she is doing and does it with all her heart. She keeps checking in with us to see if we need help even while I'm pregnant.

As a first time mom, I was very nervous and have difficulty in breastfeeding at first (no milk and latching issue). Kayla made sure to give me detailed answers to all my questions, lots of practical advices, different kinds of supports especially gave my breasts massage until my milk came so that I won't have engorgement. It was such a relief to have someone so experienced and calm by my side.
She also cared a lot about my emotion feel and chatting with her was always relaxing and comforting. Every night she came, she took care of the baby well so we could sleep and she sent an extremely detailed notes at the end to help us learn about baby's behavior. She also included summary of the resources we talked. She is truly professional and I would highly recommend her.

It was great to have Kayla to support us as postpartum doula for the first 2.5 months being new parents. She was super helpful and taught us many things about newborn care from bottle feeding to bathing to ways to calm the baby/put her to sleep. She always sends us some notes on her observations with tips/resources that I find helpful. She helped us with light houseworks as well. We even went out for a few date nights/lunches while she is at home taking care of the baby. It was nice to get these little breaks from 24/7 newborn care as we all know how exhausting that can be. We were so at ease with her handling the baby as we know our baby was in great hands. Another thing I really like about Kayla is that she is so punctuate. She always shows up on time. And as soon as she shows up, I know it’s time for us to hand over the baby and enjoy our downtime. ;)

Thank you Kayla for all your support!! We all really enjoyed the time we have spent together for the past few months, including our little one. You have made our journey to new parents so much easier, both mentally and physically. I highly recommend Kayla to someone who is looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and caring postpartum doula!

Leslie has been our doula since October. She started by providing sibling support while our third was being born, and then she transitioned to night support. The thing with Leslie is that when she comes over you just feel at ease - you know the kids are in great hands. She’s absolutely wonderful and among all of he wonderful services and care she provides, she gives parents peace of mind. That is priceless. She honestly feels like a part of the family now. Our 11 year old even says he gets excited when she is coming over, and he’s a tough sell as a preteen. Leslie is the BEST!

Our experience with Leslie put in one word would be BEAUTIFUL. We utilized both her Sibling Doula Services and Postpartum Newborn Care, and she delivered in a big way on both. She is Kind, great with kids and we always tell her that the work she does is a BLESSING.

Postpartum is rough and having her by my side made my journey so much easier. She cared for me as a mama and made sure I was comfortable throughout the night. Whenever she was around, I went to bed knowing that my newborn was in safe hands. She also helped with light household duties like laundry and that helped us so much.

After her shift, she always sent us a detailed report of her night with our newborn. She was easy to get in touch with whenever needed and also very quick to respond to any questions we had.

I have no complaints whatsoever about our experience with her and would definitely use her services again. If you're looking to hire her, go ahead, you will not regret it.

Kayla was a joy to work with and I would whole heartedly recommend her. She worked with my 3 month old daughter and quickly bonded with her. She was great at reading, playing, encouraging tummy time and other developmentally appropriate activities. She was always on time and was a great communicator. She also greatly helped my daughter get on a better nap schedule which helped with her overall schedule and nighttime sleep and is very knowledgeable about newborn and infant sleep. In addition she very helpful with baby related household tasks as well.

I am so thankful to have found Leslie as our postpartum doula. She also made sure my water bottle was always filled when I came out to pump in the middle of the night and had the bottles set our so I could easily fill and refrigerate them afterwards. Thank you, Leslie, for all that you have done for us!!

We hired Kayla for some help with sleep training our then 11 month old in Sept 2022.

Kayla was very thorough with her questions in our initial interview call, so I felt she got a good feel for our child's sleep habits. She made sure to outline our main goals so we could address them specifically in the sleep plan, which she wrote out in a really clear document for us. She also provided a document on breast health while weaning, which was also good info to have as we cut back significantly on the number of night feeds. She was really easy to connect with through text with questions and she checked in daily in the first week.

Our girl was fighting a bug for part of the time, so it took closer to 2 weeks to get our new routine established with her. I imagine if she had been healthy that time would have been shorter. We went from her waking wanting to eat every few hours to just one or two times a night. She also now can be fed and put down awake and will snuggle her lovey and go to sleep, whereas before she wanted to be rocked for 15 minutes even when done nursing. We definitely met our goals with Kayla's help and guidance!

Leslie has been a great help to our family during my first month of postpartum. I have a toddler at home who was learning the concept of siblings and needs attention. Leslie would play with him while managed to take care of my newborn. My 3-year-old often asked where Leslie was because he loved playing with her!
I feel absolute relieved whenever she comes in. Leslie is patient and listens to our needs. Like many new parents, my partner and I struggled with understanding the newborn cries (gas, hunger, tiredness, etc). Leslie shared tips and observed the baby based on my concerns. Leslie always tried to help in any way she could: doing dishes, laundry, pre-assembling pump parts for my midnight pumping sessions, making meals. These are so needed as I was recovering from C-section.
In all, Leslie is a great asset to a family as a doula.

Our 3rd child was born this August, and we had Leslie come help us for 3 nights per week for 4 weeks. Prior to his birth, Leslie reached out to check on us many times, and we all looked forward to seeing her. After our son was born, Leslie worked with our hectic schedule to ensure we were well cared for. She helped with dishes, laundry, meal prep, and even suggested she make some of her delicious protein balls because she knows that having 3 young children is HARD and Mom needs to eat too! Leslie was able to anticipate our family's needs. As a mom of 3, I felt very overwhelmed and overloaded with decision fatigue, and I knew when Leslie came, I wouldn't have to think about anything, she just took iniative and got it all done. When my 4 year old woke up at 5AM multiple morings when Leslie was at our home, she played with him and let him be her 'helper', which made him feel so important and helped Mom get just a bit more sleep. He still asks about Leslie and when she's coming back. I truly could not recommend Leslie enough for any family looking for overnight or daytime care. She is a true gem and any family would be lucky to have her!!!

We hired Leslie as our postpartum doula after our third baby was born - and it was the best decision we could have possibly made during the initial postpartum period. I had an unplanned c-section and since we don't have family in the area to help, we relied on Leslie so much during the first 6 weeks of our daughters life. She's basically the mom we wish we all had, but without the emotional baggage (haha!). She is so loving, attentive, calming, and incredible with both our newborn and our two older children (age 5 and 3). I could not have navigated the transition to a new family of five as smoothly if it weren't for Leslie.

After our daughter became jaundiced, we needed to switch to bottle feeding and Leslie supported our pumping + nursing + formula feeding journey without hesitation. She is judgement free and I felt supported no matter the decision - which is so crucial in those tender, emotional early days and weeks postpartum.

On top of expertly caring for our newborn, she made us dinners and snacks, did the dishes and laundry (baskets and baskets of laundry!), washed all bottles and pump parts in the middle of the night, and was always there to answer questions or just talk about how the baby and I were doing. She always remembered when we had various appointments and would text us to see how it went. It was so wonderful to have Leslie there for both practical help as well as emotional support.

Do yourself the biggest favor and hire Leslie as your postpartum doula. Future you will be so thankful you did! :-)

We were so appreciative of Kayla's support on our infant sleep journey. She came in at just the right time when we were making our own strides but hitting road bumps along the way. It felt like we were spinning our wheels. But Kayla's careful listening and research (after a phone consultation) helped us to understand why we were hitting a plateau and then set a path forward. She offered attainable goals that included options so we could figure out what worked best for our family. And her check-ins (via text) were appreciated as well, as they were both empathetic and encouraging (to stick to the plan or revise, as needed). Our little one now sleeps 10+ hours every night and is more consistent with his naps because of Kayla's guidance!

We hired Kayla as a postpartum doula, we were not unsure and unconfident about many things as new parents, Kayla was proactive and knowledgeable, she was able to notice the cues really matters which made us more confident with our baby.

She helped with laundry, walk my dog and some other light housework as well, we feel safe to leave the baby with her. In the last week of the contract she worked hard in order to put up some habbit for the baby so we get easier when she's not here.

One of the thing I feel really comfortable about Kayla is that she helped whatever our decision is and give advice on top of that, which is a huge relif for first time mom.

I will recommand Kayla to my friends as well.

Kayla was our postpartum doula for our second child and supported us for the first month after she was born. Kayla was so helpful during this first month as we were adjusting to a new way of life. She was great at handling our newborn and I was often impressed at how quickly she would calm/fall asleep under Kayla’s care. Not only was she great with our baby but she also helped out with doing the dishes and folding the laundry as well as providing us with tips and resources on tongue/lip tie, breastfeeding, reflux/gas that I did not know about with my firstborn. We are so glad we found Kayla and the chance to have worked with her.

Leslie was our postpartum doula for our second child and supported us for the first month after she was born. Leslie was invaluable during this first month; I looked forward to every night that she would be at our home knowing that my daughter would be well taken care of, I would be guaranteed some good sleep, and the laundry and dishes would be done the next morning. I also very much appreciated the notes she sent the morning after on how the evening went as well as the tips she shared on breastfeeding, reflux, bottle feeding, etc. Leslie is great at what she does and I’m so glad we had the chance to work with her!

Leslie was absolutely incredible for us during our postpartum period! I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She has a calming, warm, maternal energy that was exactly what I needed during this delicate time. She took amazing care of both me and our son and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. She meal prepped for us and always made sure we had what we needed, even picked up groceries for us on her way to our house! She brought expert knowledge on lactation and made me feel so much more at ease about my baby’s latch and my milk supply. Having her as a resource with breastfeeding and lactation made the experience so much better than with my first baby. She sat with my during every feeding, burped the baby, changed him, and kept me awake and focused on positive things vs thinking about how tired I was. Not to mention she did all of our laundry! And lastly, she’s a really sweet person :) I highly recommend Leslie for any family.

Kayla was our doula for 6 weeks when we first came home from the hospital. As first-time parents, we were overwhelmed with everything that went in to caring for our newborn son.  Kayla was extremely proactive in helping us set up systems and get organized to make life easier as we made the transition.  We often wondered how she got so much done in the hours she was with us! When we ran into challenges with feeding and sleep, she provided her professional support but also referred us to several great consultants and doctors.  Kayla's warm personality and genuine care made her such a blessing to our family. She really took care of all of us, not just the baby.  My husband and I highly recommend Kayla to anyone seeking an extremely hard working, organized, and empathetic doula.  She really made all the difference during a challenging time.

We hired Kayla (via a recommendation from our birthing doula) when we quickly discovered we needed some help post-delivery. From the start Kayla fit in very well with my wife and I (and my newborn son.) She has a very kind and empathetic approach to learning about us and even suggesting how she can best help us out while at the house. She did everything from showing us how to bath our son for the first time, showing us tricks of the trade with swaddling, helping my wife with some latching issues, and keeping our son happy when we needed some sleep. She was extremely knowledgeable about a broad range of topics... and when she didn't have an answer to a question we asked, she used her vast network of peers to get back to us with some advice. She almost immediately felt like part of the family when she was with us, I could not recommend more.

Kayla helped us with our second child for about three weeks in March 2022. She was very supportive of my breastfeeding goals and dealt with several household chores like laundry, dishes, etc. Kayla provided lots of tips and support for dealing with a very gassy newborn, pumping to build up supply, and lactation in general. She also provided great recommendations for lactation consultants and massage therapists that made our lives so much easier. She was great with my older child, and she was also able to alter her schedule when needed. I would recommend Kayla for post partum doula support as we had a great experience with her, and are also considering working with her again.

Kayla is amazing! Kayla supported my partner and I with our baby boy from week 1-8...and then we kept hiring her for more. We had so many challenges at the beginning, including a traumatic birth, latching issues, "colic," baby acid reflux, a baby casein allergy, and PPD. Even though we had family in the area who could theoretically help us, they didn't know how to always be there for us emotionally (without judgment) or practically (you need someone to hold the colicky baby for hours and someone who will happily take the trash out). Kayla helped us navigate every step objectively and with genuine kindness. She did extensive research herself, and connected us to medical specialists as needed. When Kayla was here, we got much-needed rest because she is the type of person who wins your trust and heart very quickly. She is reliable and will fall in love with your baby in the best way. Even our dog, who really doesn't like most people, loved Kayla. I wholeheartedly recommend Kayla for your postpartum journey.

Leslie helped us for several weeks after the birth of our first child. She was amazing in every way possible. She took care of us by giving us the rest we needed and anticipating our every want (Cut up strawberries and perfectly buttered toast at 3am after my hospital stay? Yes, please. Refill on my water? Sure. Make lactation cookies? Definitely.). She took care of our baby so easily and professionally and taught us so much about him along the way. I never once felt anxious handing our baby off to Leslie. She always followed up about baby conversations the next day via text/articles with more info since you can’t possibly remember all her 2am pearls of wisdom. Finally, she took care of our house (folding laundry, doing dishes, cleaning bottles/pump parts). She did everything with such a calming yet cheerful demeanor, and she is just a wonderful person to have a chat with while breast feeding at 3am. We couldn’t imagine a better experience and are so thankful we went with her!

Kayla helped out my husband and I when we were in need of childcare coverage for a couple days ones week. Even though she was only with us for a very short time, she jumped right in and took excellent care of our son, as well as our whole household. She was able to read G’s moods and cues during a particularly fussy time and didn’t let his fussiness discourage her. She managed our two dogs, and helped out with household cleaning and cooking as well. I feel confident recommending Kayla for postpartum doula work based on my experience with her.

Leslie greeted us at home when bringing our baby boy Kevin from the hospital. We were so exhausted and overwhelmed, but she really stepped in and helped us as first time parents reassuring us that everything is going just fine. She handled tricky night shifts when Kevin up was waking up frequently or being fussy, and in parallel she handled mom’s breastfeeding and pumping schedule. At the end of each shift she left the baby sleeping and bottles/pump parts washed and ready to go for the next feedings. Not to mention she took care of important chores in the house that we couldn’t get too. Leslie is so hard working, always on time and has so much initiative in order to keep the house in a clean, ordered state and making sure mom gets the rest she needs to recover quickly. We’ve been hiring Leslie outside of our initial plans because everything went so well, and we will surely reach out even as Kevin gets older. I highly recommend hiring Leslie for as many hours as possible to help you out with your newborn, she will earn your trust very quickly and you will see that she pours her heart into what she does. She also takes amazing pictures: some of the best we have of Kevin are taken by Leslie.

Kayla came to help us evenings and days shortly after our daughter was born. She is a caring, intuitive, responsible, communicative, knowledgeable and wonderful person. I felt our daughter was completely safe and well-watched while I caught up on much-needed sleep. Absolutely reliable and hands-on, Kayla took great care of our family. I appreciated her suggestions of things she can help us with around the home so I didn't feel guilty asking for help. Her helpful tips considering our daughter's care and development were much accepted and again, appreciated. Kayla was such an integral part of our daughter's first months we consider her a friend. We highly recommend her services.

We had Leslie's support for the first 3 months of our son's life. We started out with 1.5 months coverage, but kept adding whenever she had availability because she was SO amazing. Leslie had a magic touch with our boy, who suffered from severe reflux and colic. She helped us navigate his inconsolable crying by teaching us new techniques and connecting us to resources. I appreciated how conscientious Leslie was-- we worked with a couple substitute doulas, and I noticed that Leslie took extra care to do things like wash dishes with a small stream to make sure it wouldn't wake us up, or surprise organize our tupperware when the drawer stopped opening. Leslie also checked in continuously throughout the day to make sure we were doing alright emotionally, something that was also invaluable because the first few weeks can be so tough! On top of that, she is such a lovely person and we all miss her positive presence. You can't go wrong with Leslie.

We hired Kayla to support us for the first month of our twins lives - and my only regret is we didn't hire her for longer.

Would absolutely recommend her to any new parents!

Leslie helped us with our four week twins for a week to provide coverage when our main doula was on vacation.

Leslie was excellent and made the transition seamless.  She was incredibly knowledge, helpful, sweet with our boys, and I was able to rest peacefully everytime she came with confidence our twins were in great hands.

Would definitely recommend Leslie to any prospective parents looking to hire a postpartum doula.

Leslie is the most thoughtful, caring and talented doula out there. She set us up for success with our newborn for the first week nights. She taught us all the tips and tricks for the baby including diaper, breast milk quality, feed styles, swaddling. We trusted her so much and could sleep 6 hour stretches at night while she took care of the baby which were a huge win!! She was so kind to me and made sure my c section meds went in on time! Leslie, you are AMAZING!!

Leslie was wonderful to work with! Not only was she amazing with our new born daughter, she helped out around our home. Kayla was our postpartum doula to took care of our newborn from week 1. Kayla was extremely good with our baby. She knew exactly how to calm him down and get him to sleep right from the first few days after he was born. She always sensed the baby's needs and mine and helped us with those chores even when we didn't explicitly ask her. In fact, she would do the baby's laundry and fold the clothes each night, which was a pleasant surprise. She would always be on time, find helpful resources on the internet whenever we had a question, follow up on questions and set up all the new baby gadgets. Seriously, we didn't have any energy to deal with a mountain of baby stuff that was getting delivered and dealing with the instruction manuals. It was a huge help when Kayla set up my breast pump, bottle cleaning paraphernalia, sterilizers etc . In fact, she helped me to start pumping and made sure that I was doing it right and encouraged me so much in my breastfeeding journey. It was always nice to talk to her during the middle of the night feedings and these chats really helped with my mental health (it can get incredibly lonely if you are trying to feed a baby in the middle of the night and I am sure I would have been miserable if I didn't have someone to talk to). She would constantly check in with us after the pediatric visits and made sure things were going well and we felt supported as a family. Kayla was always on top of things and was super organized right from the beginning. She initiated a doula share that helped us use the services of another doula when she was not available. I was impressed by how active, organized, professional and, entrepreneurial Kayla was. I would definitely recommend her services. Getting postpartum doula help is the best baby gift you can give yourself and your family. I cannot emphasize how important it turned out to be in the process of recovering physically and mentally from the pregnancy and labor.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Leslie as a postpartum doula and any family would be lucky to have her. She is a true professional, and made us feel well cared for and completely secure in leaving both our newborn and toddler under her watchful (and playful) eye. She helped us for 8 weeks with both overnight and day shifts and was able to seamlessly juggle babywearing, folding laundry, and entertaining our toddler all at the same time. She is such a positive person and brought joy into our home whenever she came.

Leslie was an AMAZING sibling doula during the birth of our second son.

Being away from family and in the middle of a pandemic made this second birth super stressful for our family but Leslie was such a blessing for us.

She immediately connected with our 18-month old son and ensured that throughout our stay in the hospital he was happy, properly taken care of, and we could relax and enjoy the birth of our second son knowing that our oldest was having a blast at home.

We truly couldn't have asked for better support during this process. Prior to our delivery day she made a couple of visits to build trust with our little one and even made herself available when we needed additional help in the last couple of weeks of pregnancy. If you're looking for doula care, look no further. Leslie is AWESOME!

Leslie is an amazing sibling doula! We were not able to have family travel to be with us for the birth or my second daughter. Leslie was attentive to my daughters needs (she has social anxiety) and concerns. Leslie went out of her way to meet with my family and ahead of the birth so my daughter was comfortable with her. After the initial meeting my daughter was as excited to spend time with Leslie as she was to get a new baby sister.

The peace of mind my husband and I had while at the hospital knowing that Leslie was with our daughter was incredibly valuable to us. We received frequent updates on what activities they were doing and how things were going. My daughter made a sign for her new baby sister, crafts, baked, worked on homework, and overall had a great time.

We are so grateful to have found Leslie to help with overnights after our daughter was born in January 2021. She was amazing with our daughter, and really helped me to recover after my c-section. I chose to breastfeed and Leslie was extremely supportive. She brought our daughter in to feed, and took care of the rest (burping, changing diaper, etc.). On top of amazing infant care, Leslie helped keep our house running. From doing our laundry, to helping clean the playroom, and everything in between, it would have been completely unmanageable without her. Leslie also helped us to recognize signs of our daughters reflux, which was later diagnosed by our doctor. I truly cannot recommend Leslie enough!

Leslie provided daytime support for our newborn during our first 6 weeks home from the hospital. Leslie was a bright light in getting our house back in shape at the beginning of each week. She helped with laundry, food prep, grocery pick-up, caring for baby while we could nap or go for a walk, and general house organizing. Leslie was willing to do anything we needed. She was great with our pets who were always excited to see her and get some much needed attention. What I appreciated most of all about Leslie was her ability to come in and get to work with very little direction. She was also very conscious of COVID safety and always wore a mask in our house, which was an important requirement for us when finding a doula. I would recommend Leslie to any families looking for postpartum support!

We hired Kayla as a night and postpartum doula after our daughter was born in December. Between Covid and not having family in the area, we were really struggling. She came in and helped us get the sleep and rest we needed. She is very responsible, easy to communicate with, genuine, and on top of everything else our dog absolutely adored her! We would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone looking for night or postpartum care.

Kayla has been my post partum doula since my baby was a month old. Kayla has always been incredibly kind to both myself, my husband and my baby and has cared for both myself and my baby while we transitioned to being alone once family left. Kayla has been incredible from helping me get sleep, answering my questions and sending me things to give me more information and most importantly, she has cared for and been amazing with my baby. My little girl smiles and lights up when she sees Kayla and that means the world to me. Kayla has helped me through the most life changing experience of my life and I am forever grateful for her help. I could not recommend Kayla more and will one hundred percent hire her again if we have another baby. Thank you for everything Kayla!

Kayla worked as a sibiling doula for my 5 year old, then we brought her on as a postpartum doula for our newborn. She provided excellent care in both of these situations. Kayla is prompt, cheerful, considerate and has a great can do attitude. She found really creative ways to engage my sometimes stubborn 5 year old and greeted us upon arrival from the hospital with a welcome banner they had made together. She is also fantastic at newborn care. She could get my son to nap when few others could, and she is very willing to adhere to your instructions or come up with her own. I have the utmost confidence in her judgement and capability and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for sibling or postpartum care.

Leslie has been such an amazing person to work with. Having a very active 4 year old and a baby in the middle of a pandemic was stressful but Leslie made those initial weeks go smooth. Welcoming a baby, making siblings adjustments, helping with chores, being supportive, reliable and knowledgeable is what our family experienced with her. She made a beautiful connection with our family that is way indescribable.

She is easy to get in touch with and personally answers all her text and call. We would definitely recommend Serenity doula service and for the wonderful person/doula she is. Thank you for such an amazing experience.

Leslie provided overnight care for our 2 month old baby, and we cannot speak highly enough of her! She was friendly, professional, and very conscious of COVID safety, including wearing a mask during her entire time in our house. Leslie also volunteered to do laundry, dishes, and meal prep while our baby was sleeping (which we took her up on). She was also great with our dog (a pug), who snuck downstairs just to cuddle with Leslie on at least one occasion. We would absolutely recommend Leslie to anyone, and we are sad that we couldn't keep her for longer, because she had another family that she had already committed to. If we ever have another child, we will try to book Leslie as far out as possible.

Leslie was a fantastic doula who provided overnight care for our twin girls. She saved us by taking over for another doula who left us mid-contract. Leslie is extremely warm and willing to help out with everything. She helped with laundry, washing all bottles and pump parts, and took amazing care of the babies overnight. She was incredibly flexible and always willing to take over shifts for our other doula if something came up last minute. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I hired Kayla to watch my 2 year old daughter, while I delivered my son at Evergreen.  Kayla was a huge blessing as we had just moved to Kirkland during the pandemic and our families live too far away to offer support.  My daughter had never spent more than a couple hours away from us prior to the birth of my son, so I was a little nervous.  But with a little encouragement, my daughter warmed up quickly to Kayla and loved spending time with her.  Kayla was able to put her down for her naps and bedtime without issue.  While we were gone for 24 hours, my daughter had so much fun with Kayla that she did not ask once where we were!

Kayla is very professional, a great communicator, and excellent with little details.  My daughter talks about Kayla all the time.  I strongly reccomend working with Kayla!  She's patient, curious, genuine, and great with kids (and parents too)!  We will never forget how much she helped us when we went from being a family of three to a family of four.  Thank you, Kayla!

Leslie instantly charmed my five month old son, dissolving my fears about stranger danger and setting me at ease. She integrated seamlessly into our routines, jumping in to help where needed and demonstrating intuition about when to step in and when to step back. She was prompt, flexible and accommodating, and  totally on board with our COVID-19 guidelines and preferences. A calm and reassuring presence, Leslie created space and provided much needed support for our family in a very busy time, and we’re so grateful we hired her for postpartum doula support. We can’t recommend her enough!

Leslie has been so helpful for us in our first 2 months home with our son. She has been great with him - clearly has a passion for little ones, and provides loving care. In addition to helping care for him while we get some rest, she does whatever she can to be helpful - in the mornings all of our baby related dishes are always done, along with baby related laundry. She also helped me with my overnight pumping, cleaning everything between pumps and bringing them to my bedroom door so I didn’t have to spend more time out of bed than needed. She is incredibly thoughtful and always finds as many ways as possible to help make our lives easier with a newborn. I highly recommend hiring Leslie!

We were fortunate enough to work with Kayla Olson at Vitality Dolua Services when we brought home our 32 week premature son.
Our son had quite a rough start and we were overjoyed to bring him home from the hospital after two months in the NICU.
He had some significant feeding challenges related to his prematurity.
Kayla competently stepped in to assist us in patiently supporting his unique care needs.
I fully endorse that the knowledge and genuine care Kayla applied to our unique situation directly impacted our son's successful start out of the hospital.
Caring for a new baby with two other kids at home was not easy.
We couldn’t have done it without Vitality Doula services postpartum care.

We were so grateful to find Leslie and hire her to be our postpartum doula after the birth of our second baby. She was such a positive energy to have in the house and our almost 3 year old absolutely adores her. She came prepared each day to get done whatever needed to be done. She was great at coming in and assessing what would be most helpful for that day and just doing it which was very important to me. She was also great at adapting to whatever we needed or special projects. She was so helpful with our newborn and our toddler and we felt more than comfortable having her take care of one if we needed to take care of the other. Leslie brought books and toys that our toddler loved and made her feel so special. Leslie is very professional but also like part of the family! We cannot recommend her highly enough and know that she will help you transition to a family of 3, 4 or more!

Leslie was absolutely wonderful and I am so grateful. We are new to the area and needed a sibling doula for our two girls. I have historically very fast labors (this time was no different) and Leslie was quick to respond and took great of our other children. She brought each of them a little gift and a baby doll to play with while we were away. We came home with our new baby to a clean house and very happy kids! I would highly recommend her to anyone.

We hired Kayla to provide sibling care for our two older children while we welcomed our third child in the hospital. She has such a calm and confident demeanor, and my kids immediately fell in love with her and were eager for their special time with her. We had total confidence that they were receiving the best care, and it allowed us to focus 100% on our birth. She was an invaluable resource during a momentous time in our lives, and we are so grateful for everything she did!

Our baby was born a month early so didn't have anything lined up for the placenta I know I wanted to keep somehow. My doula gave me Kayla's info and I messaged her just a few hours after he was born, late in the evening. She promptly replied and was able to come to the hospital to pick it up. Not even knowing her or her services, I was blown away when she returned capsules, beautiful prints of the placenta and a cord keepsake shaped to make the word LOVE - it all brought me to tears. She did an amazing, last minute job and was courteous, flexible, professional and super responsive. So glad to have found her and will send others her way for sure. Thanks Kayla!

We hired Kayla as a sibling doula for a due date in September 2020. My almost 3-year-old was very happy to play with her and the peace of mind of having an on-call professional to watch him whenever it was time to go was such a relief. My labor did go awry a little bit, and she was very flexible in that regard, which we appreciated. She went above and beyond doing some extra tasks for us as well. Recommended!

Leslie was so valuable in many ways to our family.

She was very resourceful, able to respond all of our questions regards our baby and very helpful with breastfeeding tips!

I can’t thank her enough for helping with tasks around the house (dishes, cleaning & laundry). She had a lot of attention to detail and would even make sure that I was hydrated and fill up my glass of water often.

She connected really well with our baby girl and took an amazing care of her when we were not around.

Thank you for being an AMAZING doula and helping us out with this transition in our life!

Becoming first-time parents during the COVID lockdown, could have been a recipe for disaster but there was no need to worry having Leslie's support and guidance!

Highly professional, very responsive, at the same time flexible to meet the unique needs of our family (helped us during a move with our newborn)– are the three phrases that define Leslie.

Thank you for the wonderful experience and for taking such great care of our baby girl. We would not even blink once to refer Leslie.

Leslie is an amazing sibling doula. We had a home birth for our second baby and needed someone to be able to stay with our two year old daughter. Leslie was amazing with our daughter; so engaging and fun. Neither me nor my husband had to worry about comforting her or entertaining her through out the entire labor and several hours afterwards. I’m fact, our daughter had one of the most fun days she’s ever had and told us about it many times afterwards. Leslie was also incredibly helpful, during our daughter’s nap she came and helped with the birth and she stayed at our house tidying up and making sure we were all fed after our labor doula and midwives had left. She was an essential part of our birth team and I can’t recommend her enough.

Kayla was my doula as we brought our son into this world last month. She was helpful during the pregnancy by providing books and articles to read on topics I had expressed interest in learning more about. She checked in regularly and always made sure we knew how to reach her if anything was needed. During my labor she was very helpful with getting me through some intense back pain with every contraction. Had that been the only thing she helped with it would have been well worth it! She also made sure that I felt comfortable whenever things were straying from my birth preferences and her encouragement helped me to have a natural labor without an epidural. I’m very grateful for her services!

While there are doulas aplenty in the greater Seattle area, our highly experienced and established doula gave us a childcare during birth recommendation. Kayla has a relationship her as a mentee and apprentice. My partner and I were beyond thrilled to have Kayla as part of our team of providers around us. With no family close by, we've said that we wouldn't want to have another baby without her!

The planning stages to welcome our second baby looked quite different than it did for our first, since we desired another home birth with a midwife and a doula, but we now had a 3-year-old daughter running around. Kayla's primary duty was to take care of our daughter, which included feeding her, helping her use the potty, playing in the backyard, reading books, and tucking her in. She went above and beyond by bringing some of her own activities--basically a modern day Mary Poppins whom our daughter quickly adored.

As time allowed, Kayla popped into our bedroom, where I spent most of my time laboring.  Our daughter would check in with us and Kayla would explain in age appropriate language what was going on. Since she was lso a mentee to our primary doula, she would also check in with her about techniques and nuances during birth as time allowed. Our daughter remained her first priority throughout.

As an expectant mother, I understand the desire to find a doula who has vast experience and deep knowledge. Kayla is on that path. She actively attends trainings, forges relationships within the greater doula community, and deeply cares about mothers, children, babies, and birth. In short, she is mature, in tune with children, and a calm presense at birth. We continue to keep in touch and I will happily share her information with my expectant friends for care during and after birth. Consider this my word of mouth referral.

As first time parents the notion of birth was very overwhelming for us. We had no idea what to expect. We were on the fence about hiring a doula but once we met Kayla we knew we made the right decision. Kayla is so kind and professional. She is truly passionate about what she does and is an incredibly skilled doula. She got to know us and made us feel comfortable and confident going into the labor and delivery experience. Her recommendations throughout labor helped me progress and ultimately have a very smooth unmedicated vaginal birth. My husband and I both felt so well supported and would highly recommend Kayla.

Our experience with Kayla was phenomenal to say the least. She was the best coach for my wife as well as myself throughout the labor process. My wife had quite the difficult labor that involved many curveballs and relocating a couple times while lasting 43 hours. Kayla was there for and with us through it all. She offered techniques and exercises that assisted my wife progress while also providing her relief. I truly believe that we could not have done this with such an amazing outcome without her help.

Kayla, when baby number two comes, we'll be calling you!

Kayla was a wonderful doula. This was my second birth, but my first home birth and I found Kayla invaluable. She was extremely attentive, kind, reliable, and supportive. She approached my birth ready to help me and my family (including my four year old and my visiting mom). She checked in with me often as I reached the final weeks of pregnancy, was accommodating regarding the time/location of our prenatal meetings and was very skilled with the rebozo (and willing to step into my shower when needed) during my very quick and efficient labor. I found her to be indispensable (and I was very on the fence about hiring a doula for my second birth, wondering if I would need additional support). In short, I said both during and after my labor that she was instrumental in speeding my labor along and easing my pain and I could've have done it without her.

Kayla was wonderful! She is calm and direct. We were looking for support with the birth of our third child. She was knowledgeable about planning, supporting through birth - a birth that didn't go as planned - and postpartum. We had more difficulties with this baby's birth and postpartum, and Kayla was very supportive - checking in frequently via text, offering lots of support both in the hospital and afterwards. If we were having another child, we would definitely work with her again!
