I volunteer with Embrace Refugee Birth, a non-profit connected to Friends of Refugees in Clarkston, GA. They offer childbirth education, logistical support, and birth/postpartum doula support to refugee moms. My favorite way to volunteer with them is by pairing up with a mom for her whole pregnancy. I drive her to and from prenatal appointments, advocate for her wishes and translation during these appointments, and build a relationship with her over the nine months leading up to her birth. I'm on call for her birth and offer continuous support for that. It has sparked my love for advocacy and connecting with every mom I meet!

Fee Details

I offer three package options: the basic package ($500), the standard package ($1,000), and the essentials package ($1,500). They vary in the number of prenatal visits, personalized resources, and postpartum support hours. Half of the full fee is due on booking, and payment plans are available.
