Geneva was our doula for the birth of our first daughter a couple years ago. We really wanted to find a doula that would be able to bring good calm energy to our birth, and help guide us through the transition to first-time parents. Geneva was the perfect fit! She was so good at explaining all our options and expectations prior to birth and was holistic in her approach to preparing us for the entire birthing experience. During labor, she was a steady hand and calm presence--exactly what we needed! She was able to read my energy and knew exactly what I needed to hear at any given moment. That sort of insight was invaluable to us. I would highly recommend her as a loving addition to any birth experience, and feel so lucky that we were able to have her be a part of ours.

We hired Geneva as our doula for the births of both our children.  Each time I tell our birth stories I always state, "I couldn't have done it without Geneva."  She was with us every step of the way.  We met several times before each birth to discuss our hopes for the event and she worked to make sure these desires were met.  Leading up to our delivery we spoke with her several times to check in with some symptoms.  I delivered both babies without medication and Geneva was my coach each time.  She helped me through massage, suggesting different positions, calm coaching and visualization techniques.  We also chose to deliver in a hospital.  Geneva supported us in making the hospital location meet our expectations for a natural birth.  Geneva is a kind woman with so much experience in birthing as both a mother and profesional.  Years later Geneva still contacts us on our children's birthdays to check in.  She truly cares about our family.  I whole heartedly recommend her!
