Hi, I'm Liz, a ProDoula certified Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist based in New York City. I came to this work because I believe every family deserves to feel supported during the fourth trimester. The weeks after a baby arrives can be beautiful and overwhelming all at once, and having the right person by your side makes all the difference. My approach is warm but grounded. I'm not here to tell families how to parent. I'm here to support, educate, and hold space while they find their footing. Whether I'm covering overnight shifts, helping a mom establish her feeding routine, or setting up a home before baby arrives, I bring the same attentiveness and professionalism to every family I work with. I would love to connect and learn more about how I can support your family.
Hourly rate available for standalone shifts. Package options include: Overnight Newborn Care: overnight support, nighttime feeds and diaper changes, sleep shaping, feeding logs, and parent check-ins. We came to Liz at a point where we were exhausted, with a ten week old and a residency board exam looming over everything. Our doula had been wonderful, but she wasn't available for the additional stretch we needed, and she recommended Liz to step in for those final two weeks. Liz picked up right where things left off, bringing the same warmth and steadiness we needed while I was trying to prepare for one of the hardest exams of my career. By the end of our time together, our baby was sleeping through the night, and I was able to walk into my exams having actually rested. I don't think I can overstate what that gift meant to us during one of the hardest stretches of new parenthood.
