Working with Diana was a beautiful experience. I was unsure if I would even have a doula, just because they can be costly. I also was sure if I were to have one, I wanted a doula who looked like me. I was blessed to have been introduced to Diana. Not only was she willing to work with me, but I was reassured that she genuinely loves the work she is doing. She cares about the importance of a strong and healthy community when it comes to pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care. She was kind and warm, and very informed. She did all she could to help me to prepare for the birth plan that I desired. She also helped me to stay calm and encouraged me to be available to pivot should the birth plan have to change. That mental prep definitely helped me because my birth plan did indeed change. I was able to come to terms with that change gracefully because of the ways Diana prepared and supported me. Postpartum, she was continually helping me to maintain my mental health. I would for sure recommend her services to anyone looking for a doula.
