Barbara has been our main part-time nanny for almost three years, starting when our daughter was just three months old. Now that she is almost three, we’ve seen her support our daughter through every stage with warmth, patience, and genuine care.

She adapted beautifully to our needs — preparing meals for me while I was breastfeeding, expertly helping with solids despite two food allergies (FPIES and IgE), and proactively messaging to help bowel movements and tummy troubles. She acted as a true food whisperer for our fussy eater, helped establish healthy sleep habits, supported crawling and first steps, and played a big role in our daughter’s early language development through constant reading, explaining, and singing from day one.

She sings, reads, and engages with kids in such a loving, present way that it’s clear this is far more than a job to her. She’s always been so comfortable to have in our home. We’re deeply grateful for her support and highly recommend her — she’ll be wonderful as a doula for new families.

Barbara was such an amazing postpartum doula and truly made our transition into parenthood feel so much smoother. She was caring, knowledgeable, and always made us feel supported and heard. Barbara began working with our family when my oldest was an infant, guiding me through being a first-time mother. Most recently this year, she supported us through the newborn phase with our second baby. She successfully got our daughter to take a bottle when she was resisting it for us, and helped us establish a gentle, effective sleep schedule.  She is incredibly experienced and has been a great sounding board for us. She effortlessly cares for both of my kids together (now 2.5 years and 6 months). I now have total peace of mind and zero worries whenever I need or want to leave the house. Barbara has a warm, kind presence that instantly puts our home at ease. We love her and highly recommend her for any postpartum or childcare needs.
