My husband and I cannot recommend Luz enough! She was with us overnight from the day we came home with our baby boy until he was around 2 months old. We were very nervous to have someone take care of our little one but right from the start Luz put us at ease. She was warm and extremely knowledgeable. This was our first child and Luz educated us on so many things, without her we would not have known where to start. Our son is a very good sleeper and we attribute that starting with Luz. It was clear that she genuinely cared for our son and we will be forever grateful to her. Over 3 years later and she still checks in on us to see how he is doing. We would 1000% hire Luz again and if you do you will not regret it.

I would absolutely work with Luz again if I had the opportunity.

Luz cared for my baby boy from the time he was two months old until he was about three and a half months old, working overnight shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM three times a week. From the very beginning, it was clear that she has extensive experience and genuinely loves what she does.

She helped establish a healthy sleep routine for my baby while thoughtfully respecting the routines and preferences already in place in our household. Luz was not only loving and attentive toward my son, but also incredibly supportive and considerate of my well-being as a first-time mother. She always looked for ways to help me feel more confident in caring for my baby while also making sure I got the much-needed rest and support I needed during those early months.

Luz was consistently punctual, dependable, and flexible when we occasionally needed longer hours. Having her with us during such an exhausting and emotional stage of early parenthood was both a tremendous relief and a true joy.

It was such an amazing opportunity to know that as a first time mother, having a doula was very important for my birth. I actually did not know what a doula was until introduced by it. When I interviewed Luz Triana I never thought I'd find someone with the most deep love connection towards newborn, prenatal, postpartum care, lactation educator and mother as well herself . She is indeed very knowledgeable and has so much experience which made me feel so confident and trustworthy of her ??She is so amazing I am so blessed to have chosen her as my doula. She played a very important role in my pre visit as prepping and helping me with my birth plan + birth experience. There was a complication moment in my birth and her support was getting me through and helping me with all the techniques she knew would help me.  As a first time mother I highly suggest obtaining a doula to have a smooth and confident birth.

Working with Luz during the birth of our baby was one of the greatest blessings for our family. From the moment labor began through my postpartum recovery, she provided exceptional care, guidance, and support every step of the way. Thanks to her encouragement, knowledge, and calming presence, I was able to have the natural birth experience I had hoped for, and I felt supported, respected, and empowered throughout the entire process.

After our baby was born, Luz continued supporting both me and my husband as our postpartum doula. She helped us navigate every aspect of newborn care with patience and kindness. As first-time parents, having someone so experienced and attentive made an enormous difference in our confidence and peace of mind.

Luz also provided incredible breastfeeding support and education. She helped me through the challenges of early lactation with so much compassion and practical knowledge, and I truly believe my breastfeeding journey was successful because of her guidance and encouragement.

What stood out most to me was the level of care she brought into our home. She prepared nourishing meals to support my recovery, helped organize and maintain the house, assisted with the baby constantly, and always seemed to know exactly what was needed before I even had to ask. She cared for me not only physically, but emotionally as well, during a very vulnerable and transformative time in my life.

Luz is warm, professional, trustworthy, and incredibly dedicated to the families she serves. She brings genuine love into her work, and it shows in everything she does. We are deeply grateful for her support and honestly cannot imagine those first weeks with our baby without her.

Dear Parent,

It is difficult to fully express how much Luz has meant to our family over the years. What began as professional support quickly became something much deeper — she became part of our family. Luz supported me through pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, newborn care, sleep training, and early childhood development with both of my children.

Luz was both our birth doula and postpartum doula for each of my children. During some of the most emotional and vulnerable moments of my life, she brought calm, confidence, warmth, and extraordinary knowledge into our home. She has a unique ability to make parents feel safe, supported, and empowered while also providing exceptional care for babies and children.

She also became our children’s Spanish teacher. Today, they're bilingual, and I genuinely credit Luz for helping create that foundation. She incorporated Spanish naturally into everyday life through books, songs, games, and conversation, making learning joyful and meaningful.

In addition, Luz was our sleep trainer for both children with excellent results. Her approach to sleep is gentle, patient, intuitive, and consistent. Thanks to her guidance, our children developed healthy sleep habits that positively impacted our family’s well-being.

What makes Luz truly exceptional is that she is far more than a caregiver. She is deeply knowledgeable, emotionally intelligent, nurturing, organized, calm under pressure, and incredibly dedicated to the families she serves.
