I bring a steady and genuine presence to the birth space, while allowing each family’s unique personality and dynamic guide the way I support them. I’m down to crack jokes and keep things light or be serious and grounded to help you protect your peace during the more vulnerable parts of your labor! I feel confident supporting families through the physical and emotional intensity of birth with hands-on comfort, reassurance, encouragement, and continuous support as soon as I’m needed in the birth space. I believe in meeting each family where they are and adapting my support to what feels most helpful in the moment whether that’s position changes, peaceful vibes, new comfort measures to try, slowing the room down and helping you take time to process your choices, or just reminding you that you’re capable and the only way out is through! Birth is hard but so transformative and I love getting to witness the strength it brings. I also have 4 years of case management experience working with birth equity populations and pregnant individuals navigating social determinants of health within their communities. Through this work, I have supported individuals in building confidence in themselves, advocating for their needs, and connecting with meaningful resources and support systems. I believe this has given me a very solid foundation for my doula work. Additionally, I am a mother of 4! I have birthed my babies in a hospital and birth centers. I’ve been induced, went into spontaneous labor, and have had labor augmented. My personal experiences have greatly shaped the care I give my clients because I’ve been there! Birth can be wild and intense but good support truly can make a difference.

Fee Details

I am a Certified Doula through the state of Washington. I accept private pay and Washington Apple Health/Medicaid! I am willing to meet clients in my community where they are at, so I offer a sliding scale fee for private pay clients based on the honor system. Contact to discuss your needs and we can try to make something work! Everyone should have access to good quality support during such an important and sensitive time in their life. My fee incudes text and call support upon hire, 2 prenatal appointments, on call for your birth, and 1-2 postpartum visits based on your needs. For Medicaid clients, you receive 20 hours outside of your birth that you can utilize for doula support and we can customize appointments based on your needs. Some people feel like they need more prenatal appointments, some people feel like they want more postpartum support! You can call, email, or text me to set up a free consultation! 253-315-9194.
