The family-building journey is a sacred time that can be just as full of challenges as it can be of growth, joy, and beauty. As a Registered Nurse, Community Doula, parent, Tia to many, and recent graduate of the University of Washington's Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Nurse Midwifery program I am well-prepared to support a wide range of needs during this time and am grateful to any who may be considering my services. I have 15+ years of experience in sexual and reproductive health, am deeply committed to providing exceptional support to all my clients. I am particularly grateful for the gift of collaborating with immigrant families and LGBTQ+/BIPOC-identified folx (including multiracial individuals, couples, and families!) as those are the communities that I hail from! I am a native speaker of both Spanish and English with maternal family coming from our ancestral lands in Jalisco, MX and Germany/Scotland/Ireland on my paternal side. My practice is rooted in relational care, evidence-based practice, and ancestral traditions from the southern end of Turtle Island.

Postpartum - la cuarentena - is a delicate and sacred time in the family-building journey that deserves generous care and support. I specialize in sostenimiento - sustaining families during this time in their well-being, adjustment to the role of parenting, screening for postpartum mood disorders, mood support, holding and counseling through this time of adjustment, sibling dynamics, lactation, healing, and so much more.
