Having Jae as my doula was the perfect decision I could have made. Even though we were long distance, she still supported me from afar, to where the distance didn't even make a difference. Video calls, phone calls, text messages, she made every effort to make sure I knew I was cared for even though she couldn't physically be present with me. We discussed birthing plans and expectations, and I honestly would have never thought to do that. This was my third child and not once did I ever think to have a birthing plan. She empowered me to make my own choices and to know I had options and I didn't have to automatically listen to what I was being told to by doctors and nurses. She sent me videos of different birthing positions and different ways to prepare myself for labor. She even sent me a birthing ball! She listened to all my complaints, all of my worries and concerns and made me feel... Like super woman. She was so reassuring, so comforting. While everyone else made everything about the baby, she always made sure to emphasize that I was just as, if not more important. No matter the time of day I reached out, she answered or got back to me quickly. Although she wasn't able to physically be here for the delivery, her presence was felt. I called her all throughout the delivery and she was with me, continuing to encourage and guide me. Making sure I knew I had a voice and reminded me to use it when I needed to. 

After giving birth she continued to follow up, making sure I was okay while I struggled with some post parnum depression. She always provided solutions and options and a different perspective on things.

Im so glad a decided to use one of my longest standing friends as my doula. Jae maintained the perfect level of professionalism while still being my friend.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible support and care Jae provided during my pregnancy journey. From the very beginning, Jae was not just my doula but also my rock, offering unwavering encouragement, knowledge, and kindness. Our hybrid time together—meeting in person and countless chats through text and FaceTime—was everything I needed and more.

Jae was there for both me and my husband, ensuring that our experience as first-time parents felt supported and informed. She truly listened to my needs, fears, and hopes and catered to me every step of the way. Her presence was so comforting that I genuinely wish she could have been in the delivery room with me. I know her strength, energy, and support—alongside my mom—would have made me feel even more empowered in one of the most transformative moments of my life.

Jae was everything I didn’t know I needed during this experience. Having known her since high school, I always knew she was special, but this experience solidified her as one of the most impactful people in my life. Not only was she my doula, but she also became an even closer, lifelong friend.

I cannot wait for my next pregnancy, knowing she will be by my side with even more knowledge, experience, and love to share. For anyone considering a doula, I cannot recommend Jae enough. She will pour her heart into supporting you through every step of this beautiful journey, making you feel cared for and truly seen.

If you’re ready to be loved on during your pregnancy, Jae is the one. 100/10, without question!

I cannot express enough how deeply grateful I am for Jae, owner of Ethereal Blossom Doula Services.  She wasn’t just my best friend, Jae was a constant source of strength, comfort, and unwavering support through both of my pregnancies. From the first signs of labor to the very last moments of delivery, she was there, guiding me with love, patience, and expertise.

Every contraction, every moment of doubt, she helped me navigate with her calming presence and words of affirmation. She offered not just physical support but emotional guidance, always reminding me that I was capable and strong, even when I didn't believe it myself.

Through both pregnancies, she was more than a guide through childbirth; she was a true advocate for me and my children. Her knowledge and patience gave me the confidence to make feel empowered, no matter what challenges came our way. I truly couldn't have done it without her—she made both of my births beautiful, transformative experiences that I’ll cherish forever.

Working with my Jae was so much more than having support during pregnancy and birth—it was gaining someone who has continued to genuinely show up for my family and I. Her care did not end in the delivery room. Even postpartum, she has continued to check in consistently—not just on my children, but on me as a woman, a mother, and an individual.

Thank you Ethereal Blossom for being the incredible, loving, and knowledgeable presence I needed. You made all the difference, and I’ll be forever grateful for everything you did to help bring our babies into the world and everything you continue to do!

Heading to the hospital for my first delivery I had everything set. I had my birthing plan. I had all my ideas of what I wanted my vaginal birth to be. I didn’t wanna sit. I didn’t want to be laying down. I wanted a bounce ball. I wanted to give birth in a tub. The minute I got to the hospital. All those things were denied. I was forced to lay down and soon enough, I was forced to get an epidural. Once the epidural was given, I was then forced to get a C-section stating that I was putting my child at risk.

Three years later, I’m pregnant again and terrified of what this birth experience could bring. When I was recommended to get a Doula to help advocate for all the things that I want this time around. I must say this advice was the best piece of advice I have gotten in my life. It changed the entire trajectory of my pregnancy and my delivery. I went in with my birthing plan. I wanted a VBAC. I wanted minimal medication. I wanted to stand and be able to bounce on a birthing ball, and all those things were provided for me. I had my doula  in the room with me every step of the way, ensuring that all my needs and wants were met. Having a doula really changed my perspective on birth and delivery. It even made me want to get pregnant, maybe one more time. I wholeheartedly recommend a Doula to any mother. Especially first time mothers so that their experience is not robbed from them. I went from trauma to euphoria thanks to Jae Miller’s recommendation for a Doula.

What stood out most was her communication and willingness to go the extra mile to help. It really made a difference for our family, and I’m grateful for the support we received.
