Doula Training

Type of practice: Solo practice

Clients per month: 1 to 3 births and 1 to 3 postpartum families

Postpartum limits/restrictions: no smokers, postpartum care must be scheduled in 2 hour blocks. If more time is needed, for example, 4 hours of care time because of amount of work to be done, I can bring another doula with me to keep the time spent at 2 hours but the work done would be 4 hours of work.

Attends hospital births? Some Hospitals
I attend Births at almost all hospitals in the greater KC area with the exception of North KC Hospital.

Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers

Attends home births? Any Home Birth
I attend Home Births with a CPM Midwife in attendance.

I was a doula in the pilot program to bring Medicaid coverage to Kansas and Missouri because I firmly believe that every woman should have access to Doula Care at her birth.

Fee Details

My fee includes: 2 prenatal meetings, 1 Complete Online Childbirth Education Course, Unlimited hours to support labor and birth, and 1 hour of Postpartum Care, *more can be purchased after birth, on an as-needed basis.*
