Type of practice: Solo practice

Clients per month: 0 to 2 births and 0 to 3 postpartum families

Postpartum limits/restrictions: I have asthma so cannot practice in households that smoke cigarettes Dog and cats and non furry animals are fine. I have a tiny (8 lbs) Service Dog who comes with me (with consent from the parent/s) on overnight shifts

Attends hospital births? Some Hospitals
I do not attend births at Stroger or UIC. Happy to discuss why.

Attends home births? Some Home Births

Worked with: Chicago Volunteer Doulas: Oct 2017 - 2024 Sokana Collective: 2022 - 2024 Advocacy and Training: I am also an educator (7 years) and consultant (5 years) for Birthwork Organizations I have facilitated the following: • Birth and Reproductive Care Work: Navigating the Medical Industrial Complex • Deepening Emotional Wellness for Birthworkers • Grounding in Access and Disability Justice • Neurodivergent Affirming Practices • Supporting Queer, Trans and GNC pregnant people: Full Spectrum • Trauma, Black Folks and Medical Industrial Complex And I have my own 12 week training I host virtually called Disability Justice Grounded Birthwork

Fee Details

All of my services are scale. Birth support starts at: $500 with 25% due at signing of the contract. Postpartum support starts at: $25/hour. And Extra $10/hour for multiples. With payment due at the end of each individual shift
