Jenae has supported me in ways I'll never be able to thank her enough for. She's focused, intuitive, and empathetic in a way that helped me to feel confident in myself. She supported my husband and daughter in preparation as well as in the moment giving us a truly family-centered birth. Having her in my support team made my experience one I look back on with so much joy and gratitude!

We had reached out to Jenae on short notice (37 weeks pregnant!) looking for a Doula and she was very responsive and welcoming. She immediately provided us with her availability to set up a zoom call to introduce herself and explain to us what she offers and sort of what the pre-labor, labor/birth, and postpartum stages of her assistance would look like. She was very organized in her work and the questions she would ask to ensure our birth preferences were thorough which made us feel safe and confident in how she would advocate for us. She made us feel heard. She helped us prepare for birth and checked-in with us periodically to see how we were doing. When birth day was upon us, she was calming and reassuring in that everything we wanted would be achieved. She met us at the birth center and gently guided us when we needed help or suggestions, was quick to jump in to provide encouragement and comfort, and was prompt in asking questions to the medical staff to ensure we had the answers we needed every step of the way. Postpartum she met with us to help ease our transition and assist in any way she could, and also to simply check in with us and see how we were doing. Jenae was a perfect balance of personal and professional and helped put our worries at ease. Her knowledge and preparation were spot on and she helped to make sure our birth story was exactly the way we imagined it. We would highly recommend Jenae for anyone in need of doula services.
