I’m a first time mom and had the pleasure of having Kaitlyn as my doula throughout my pregnancy in 2025 and for my son’s birth in November. We had three prenatal sessions together leading up to his birth. Kaitlyn was friendly, warm, calm, patient, thorough, educated, reassuring and offered a massive peace of mind when it came to my questions, fears and everything I was unsure of or uneasy about throughout pregnancy and leading up to birth. She provided educational resources and references for us which were so helpful to be able to review in our own time and ask questions.

Kaitlyn helped myself and my partner to reframe our thoughts, worries, and stresses in order to maintain a positive mindset through a new and unknown journey. She also provided hands-on physical support by teaching us various positions, techniques, and breathing tools. She helped with ideas for how to set the perfect mood for a calming, peaceful, grounded experience. Kaitlyn helped me feel strong, empowered and confident in asking medical staff for what I wanted or needed, knowing my rights and what I could refuse, and knowing when I should question something if it didn’t feel right.

During the birth she was my advocate and my second (or my only) brain, during a time where I was struggling; she was my voice when I couldn’t find my own. Having an experienced and genuinely warm, caring, thoughtful, and peaceful soul present throughout my labour and birth was everything myself and my partner needed. Having her there allowed us to be present with each other and the experience ourselves.

I wouldn’t think twice about inviting Kaitlyn to join me again for any future pregnancies, and I’d highly recommend her as a doula if you’re looking for an incredibly all-around supported and beautiful pregnancy, labour, and birth experience.

I cannot put into words how grateful I am for Kaitlyn and the support she gave us throughout our entire pregnancy journey. From the months leading up to my due date, her prenatal classes were incredibly informative, empowering, and calming. She taught us all about the birth process and helped calm fears I was holding onto. She helped me feel prepared not just physically, but emotionally, and was always there with reassurance, encouragement, and a listening ear when I needed it most.

When I went into labour Kaitlyn came over and helped me labour at home as long as possible. She provided constant emotional support for both me and my husband, helping us stay grounded and confident during such an intense and vulnerable time. She guided me through different positions to get comfortable during labour, offered counter pressure exactly when I needed it, timed my contractions, and knew how to step in with calm strength and compassion at every moment.

Having Kaitlyn by my side during labour, delivery, and even afterwards made a world of difference. She made me feel seen, supported, and capable, and her presence brought such a sense of peace to the room. I truly believe my birth experience was as positive as it was because of her care, knowledge, and unwavering support.

If you are considering a doula, I cannot recommend Kaitlyn enough, we will forever be thankful to have had her as part of our birth story!
