I've been working as an overnight newborn care specialist for approximately 2 years, including for families with multiples (twins) and babies as young as 6 weeks of age. My desire and passion for becoming a doula is heavily influenced by my lived experience, as a close family member passed away during childbirth in 2013, in part due to systemic inequities present within our healthcare system. It is my goal to provide advocacy and emotional support for expecting and new mothers.
