Working with Yolanda as my doula was such a wonderful experience. Birth can be incredibly overwhelming and overstimulating, but she was such a calm, steady presence throughout the entire process. She truly honored my birth plan and advocated for me when I needed it most, making sure I felt heard, respected, and well taken care of.

Yolanda explained each part of the process clearly and in detail, which helped me feel informed and confident during my pregnancy and delivery. She checked in on me frequently both during pregnancy and postpartum, which meant so much and made me feel fully supported.

Beyond her professionalism, Yolanda has such a beautiful personality that made it very easy to connect with her. I’m so grateful to have had her by my side during such an important moment in my life.

My husband and I are endlessly grateful that we were matched with Yolanda as our doula to welcome our first child. She has a wonderful energy that helped me to feel calm and confident, and is so easy to connect with. I always felt heard and taken seriously with any of my questions and concerns, especially when I communicated that my biggest concern was being able to advocate for myself and my health while in the middle of the labor process. Yolanda absolutely took that concern seriously and was my biggest champion in the delivery room. My husband expressed many times how relieving it was to have another "teammate" to share the mental and emotional load of being a support person during labor. My birth took a sharp turn from routine induction to emergency c section, and could I have gotten through it without her? Sure, but would I ever want to? Not in a million years. As I grieved and processed the experience I had planned for in real time while simultaneously trying to adjust to the current reality of what was happening, Yolanda held space for my intense feelings and treated me with such grace, warmth and kindness. We love and appreciate her so much and she was an essential character in the story of bring our son into the world.
