Postpartum limits/restrictions: Hello! My name is Ciara and I am a newborn care and postpartum doula. I offer warm, holistic, and compassionate support to families during the postpartum period. With a strong background in early childhood education and family care, I bring extensive experience working with infants, young children, and parents. I am BLS certified and hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development, grounding my work in an understanding of infant development, attachment, and the evolving needs of families during the fourth trimester. I spent six years with the University of Michigan Towsley Children's House and Michigan Medicine C. S. Mott Children's Hospital, where I developed a deep understanding of the needs of both typically developing and medically complex infants. As a postpartum doula, I focus on nurturing both baby and parents - providing newborn care guidance, feeding support, education, and practical help so families can rest, recover, and build confidence in this new season.
