Anuja is a wonderfully solid doula — professional, punctual, communicative, curious, and deeply present. That last quality is what sets her apart: she shows up physically and emotionally in a way that is remarkable.

During my induction and labor, she provided the warmth, attention, and touch I needed. She also had a gift for balancing out my husband's analytical, engineering mind — supporting and guiding him through the experience just as much as she supported me.

That ability to care for both of us is the core reason we chose her as our birth doula, and frankly why she became our postpartum doula as well. Over the past 11 months, Anuja has helped with everything from diaper changes, play, tummy time, and crawling, to feeding, reading and taking our daughter on walks. She will also surprise us with a small, thoughtful gift — a book, a little spoon — because she notices what our daughter enjoys and anticipates what we might need next. That extra attentiveness goes a long way.

I am so relieved to have Anuja in our lives. I trust her, I genuinely like her, and I recommend her without reservation.

Anuja attended the birth of my second child and provided wonderful physical and emotional support during our prenatal and postnatal meetings, and especially during my unmedicated labor and birth. I was immediately drawn to her empathetic and kind personality, and always felt that she honored my wishes and advocated for my birth preferences at the hospital. She went above and beyond to make sure that I had what I needed to get through my last prenatal visits and always provided resources when I had questions. Highly highly recommend her. Having a doula was the best decision I made for my birth, and Anuja was a great fit for our family.
