Doula Training

Type of practice: Solo practice

Clients per month: 1 to 5 births and 1 to 3 postpartum families

Postpartum limits/restrictions: -Maintain a safe environment during home visits -Communicate any safety concerns so the doula can adjust support appropriately -Tell the doula about any animals or pets in the house -Alert the doula of any firearms/weapons as well as disclose any prior convicts and felons living in the house at the time of visitation

It is important to note that hospitals and birth centers may have visitor limits, security protocols, or policy changes, including restrictions on the number of support people allowed in labor and delivery rooms.

-I support my community by volunteering at community baby showers in the Mercer county region and attending doula/midwife hosted events focused on improving maternal care. I have received a New Jersey General Assembly Citation for my dedication to maternal and infant health and my contributions to the community -I participated in the 2025 Nurture NJ Leadership Summit on December 10th centered on strengthening and diversifying the perinatal workforce. As a Black full-spectrum, community-based Doula I am focused and passionate about furthering this mission.
