Destiny was available and very attentive to my needs so I could stay in bed to let my body specifically my uterus heal. I also had a really sore tailbone after birth and honestly it took me longer then the average to feel comfortable walking around. Destiny also respected the space and allowed for silence as I was figuring out momlife. 

Destiny did a great job cooking my breakfast and preparing my lunches and dinners. She always cared about the presentation which made everything look very appetizing which was important because I was eating the same thing over and over for simplicity and eating bulk healing stews. She also listened to what I wanted and brewed my herbal teas, made my green foods and brought me coconut water every morning so I can have my liquids. Liquids saved me and I really feel positively impacted my breastfeeding journey. She also encouraged me to go sit outside and get some sunlight which helped me mentally.

Destiny is a standout. I was impressed by her peaceful presence and her intuitive way with newborns. She has a remarkably gentle touch that keeps babies calm and settled, whether she is demonstrating soothing or putting them to sleep. She’s a responsive, resourceful, and deeply compassionate full-spectrum doula. Her commitment to her client's well being is evident in everything she does. She's a serene force and a knowledgeable professional in all things labor and babies.

I didn’t realize how much I needed a doula until I had one. As a parent, I was carrying fear and stress into birth, but my doula brought peace. She spoke life into me when I was tired, grounded me when I panicked, and reminded me that I could do this. She supported me physically, emotionally, and mentally; and after birth she helped us adjust to our newborn with so much patience and care. I felt protected, supported, and deeply respected.
