I feel so grateful to have found and worked with Erin and her wonderful team. It was the best decision we made for our birth process. It’s so hard to express how meaningful and healing it was to have them by our sides through this experience.

We experienced threatened preterm labour, a long prodromal labour, and very long actual labour. Throughout all of this, Erin went above and beyond, and helped keep us grounded, find moments of comfort and levity, and navigate difficult decisions and the waiting game. She was a source of joy and empowerment, and a compassionate witness to our entire birth journey. I really appreciate how she could meet me both on a practical, down to earth and also very intuitive, soul-affirming level - exactly what I needed in this wild life changing moment. She is such a lovely spirit and truly gifted doula.

my spouse and i had erin on our care team for a pregnancy i gestated between march and december 2023. we were drawn to working with erin due to her skills at approaching pregnancy, birth, and children from a gender-neutral lens; her skills as an acupuncturist; and her pro food and pro fat politics. throughout our time with erin, i appreciated that she was clear and flexible in her communication approches and finding strategies that worked well for all of us. i also really appreciated how thoroughly she took notes and was receptive to our adding questions to meetings where we were exploring our birth plan. i spent a lot of time in early labour and erin is the main reason i was able to sleep during that time -- her acupuncture treatments were instrumental in helping me cat nap. after a surprise c-section, erin went to bat for me in the hospital, convincing hospitality staff to give me twice my alotted food for the day because of how hungry i was, and she also stayed on my care team in my immediate post-partum period, providing me with c-section scar acupuncture and helping me grow used to having nerves that would need time to regrow. i am really glad to have gotten the opportunity to work with her.
