Rae's support was the breathe of air I didn't know i'd need for my 4th birth. We originally engaged them as a photographer, and then added doula support after our initial consult because she was up for flexing into what we needed. Her experience in birth spaces and presence spoke for itself. 

I was not in the "I absolutely need a doula" category, as i'd had 3 relatively uncomplicated births previous. Not my first rodeo. I also know every birth its own unique adventure, and I had been so well supported in previous births that I was concerned we didn't have someone there to tie it all together for me, my kids, and my partner. Because of that I felt I needed someone with the experience and depth to read into what I really needed beyond the practical, or i'd frankly risk being more annoyed with the support and unable to trust enough to recieve it. Rae was able to step into the birthspace at our home, meet my whole family exactly where they were, and provide stability and safety right where we all needed it. They held space perfectly and offered fabulous hands on functional support. Oh, and the photos are gorgeous and artsy. Highly recommend. Thank you, Rae <3.

Rae supported us as a doula and birth photographer with the birth of our second daughter at St. Anne's in Burien, WA. Her presence in listening to our previous birthing experience, and our goals for this one, made us feel seen, known and held at each step of the way. Tiffany (birthing person) experienced Rae's care as steady, grounding and affirming, and feels that it helped her stay embodied even amidst intensity. Thomas (birthing partner) felt Rae's responsiveness was stellar, and that her instructions during labor were clear, pracitcal and kind. Rae's photography beautifully captured our perinatal chapter and served to support us in integrating our experience, as well as celebrating and honoring, the arc of our journey.

I truly cannot recommend Rae enough! She was my doula, midwife, and birth photographer for all three of my births, and I honestly can't imagine going through those experiences with anyone else.

Rae wears many hats, and her experience as a midwife allowed her to provide an exceptional level of care as my doula. From the very beginning, she made me feel supported, informed, and genuinely cared for. Her calm presence, incredible knowledge, and unwavering encouragement gave me confidence through every stage of pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. She always knew exactly when to offer guidance and no question was too small. She advocated when needed and provided a reassuring presence in the birth space. She made even the most challenging moments feel manageable. Beyond labor and delivery, she also provided thoughtful prenatal care and postpartum check-ins. I am beyond thankful for the support Rae provided.

As a photographer, Rae beautifully captured the raw, emotional, and fleeting moments of each birth. Those photos are among my most treasured possessions, and I know I'll cherish them for years to come. She not only documented each birth but also supported our family every time it grew, making each experience even more meaningful.
