Victoria was so supportive not just during labor and birth, but throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. She always remembered to check in with me after my OB appointments to ask how they went and was always ready to share resources with me if I needed them. She helped me develop a birth plan and advocated for me during my time in the hospital when the doctor wanted to perform another cervical check shortly after the nurse had already performed one. My husband and I couldn’t have made it through labor without her. She arrived as soon as possible when we let her know I was admitted to the hospital. My husband knew exactly how to support me because of her guidance. My labor was long (more than 24 hours) and Victoria never left our side. When labor wasn’t going according to my plan, Victoria supported me emotionally and spiritually by holding my hand, encouraging me, praying over me and reminding me that I was doing an amazing job. I would work with Victoria again when my husband and I decide to have another baby.
