I hired Victoria as my doula for my second labor and delivery after a rough first experience: long labor, epidural, and a really hard recovery. My biggest goal this time was to avoid an epidural and have a better recovery, and Victoria helped me accomplish exactly that.

From the start, she took the time to meet with me multiple times before my due date to understand what I wanted and help me think through every step of the process. When active labor hit, she was right there with me, helping me work through contractions with different positions and keeping me focused. I delivered with zero pain medication, and my recovery was night and day compared to the first time.

What sets Victoria apart goes beyond just the birth itself. She visited me at home two weeks postpartum to check in on how I was doing mentally and physically. She also came prepared with pelvic floor therapy referrals and breastfeeding resources when I needed them. She clearly thinks ahead for her clients.

As a fellow believer, having someone who prays with you and for you throughout the entire process meant everything to me. I truly believe that made a difference.

If you are considering a doula, I cannot recommend Victoria enough. She is knowledgeable, caring, and genuinely invested in helping you achieve the birth experience you want.

Victoria was so supportive not just during labor and birth, but throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. She always remembered to check in with me after my OB appointments to ask how they went and was always ready to share resources with me if I needed them. She helped me develop a birth plan and advocated for me during my time in the hospital when the doctor wanted to perform another cervical check shortly after the nurse had already performed one. My husband and I couldn’t have made it through labor without her. She arrived as soon as possible when we let her know I was admitted to the hospital. My husband knew exactly how to support me because of her guidance. My labor was long (more than 24 hours) and Victoria never left our side. When labor wasn’t going according to my plan, Victoria supported me emotionally and spiritually by holding my hand, encouraging me, praying over me and reminding me that I was doing an amazing job. I would work with Victoria again when my husband and I decide to have another baby.
