Desiree completed a postpartum doula apprenticeship with me in 2025. Truly she is a delight to work with, and outstanding in every way. Her prior work experience as a teacher and her warm, friendly personality blend with expert doula skills to create a responsive, nurturing postpartum care experience. She’s an excellent, prompt communicator. Desiree is detail-oriented, and also highly flexible, very much going with the flow of doula life. She’s observant and sensitive to families’ unique needs in the perinatal period. Desiree will be an especially welcome support for families in which new baby has a big sibling.  She has a wonderful way with small children!  I wholeheartedly recommend Desiree to any family seeking postpartum doula care!

Desiree worked with our family after the birth of our second baby as an apprentice to our postpartum doula. She was amazing! She has a warm, nurturing, and knowledgeable presence, and she cared for both our newborn and our toddler for long stretches so we were able to rest, eat, shower, and all the other things that can be so hard to find time for during the newborn days. Desiree is clearly very intuitive and skilled when it comes to connecting with children, and our toddler loved her so much that she kept asking for her to come back! I would absolutely recommend Desiree and I hope to work with her again if we have another baby.
