Emily was a crucial part of my pregnancy and postpartum experience. Before having my baby, she provided me with key resources and videos to help me create my birth plan. While having a high-risk pregnancy with twins it was crucial to understand my higher likelihood of c-section and what that could look like. From product recommendations to what questions, you should ask your doctor having someone like Emily in your corner is key. After I had my baby, Emily made a variety of snacks and food for our freezer which kept us going. She was able to walk me through sizing my flanges for my pump and discuss any questions I had about my c-section scar care. Along this pregnancy journey she was a key sounding board for concerns and questions. During pregnancy it can often feel like it's all about the baby, but Emily makes sure you as a mom feel SEEN and empowers to feel all your emotions, the good, the bad, the confusing. I would highly recommend her for both your birth and postpartum support.

We feel so lucky that we had the privilege of working with Emily as our post-partem doula and night nurse. Emily entered our lives when our daughter was just over a week old. She's our first child, so while we were happy beyond words, we truly had no idea what we were doing. Emily brought not only some much-needed expertise and support - she brought a calm and kindness that made us feel confident and calm. She offered incredibly helpful tips on feeding, on sleeping, on gas management, and on how to do tummy time in a way that our daughter just loved. And as a night nurse, she gifted us back our sleep, because we knew we could close our eyes, trusting that our daughter was in truly excellent care. We could not recommend Emily more highly - she's skilled, she's kind, she's calm, and most of all, she absolutely loves supporting babies and families during this very special time.

Working with Emily was great! 

I am so appreciative of the care that she extended to our baby and our family. She was extremely supportive and we felt very comfortable with her taking care of our newborn at night so that we could get some much needed rest! We are forever grateful for her help!

We loved working with Emily! She was a wonderful relief during the postpartum period and felt like a natural addition to our care team. We knew that welcoming a second child would provide additional challenges and Emily helped provide quality care, light housework support, and an empathetic ear allowing me time and space to rest and heal. She provided judgement-free suggestions and shared knowledge without being pushy and supported our decisions for feeding and care. It was an absolute bonus that she understood and was familiar with food allergies/sensitivities as we're a multi-food allergy household. We felt so comfortable with her in our home and appreciated her attention and care she brought to our entire family.
