Annie is a delightful person and was an incredibly supportive presence at and leading up to the birth of our first child. 

She came to our pre-meetings prepared with an agenda and helpful question prompts to help us think through our birth plan. She then followed up promptly with a written summary of what we had discussed and lingering questions for us to continue to think about. Thanks to Annie, we went into the birth feeling MUCH more prepared both in terms of what we wanted and what we would do if things did not go according to plan. 

At the birth, Annie was calm, cheerful, and comforting. She knew when to jump in with massage or soothing touch, words of encouragement, and breathing techniques but also was comfortable hanging back and letting me and my husband have time just us after our daughter was born. 

We can't thank Annie enough for the role she played welcoming our baby girl into the world and would very much recommend her to others!

We really loved our experience with Annie and would recommend her without question. She is simply a great person to have in the room and someone you absolutely want on your team.

She brought a sense of calm, confidence, and deep knowledge that made us feel completely supported and prepared. She asked thoughtful questions about our birth preferences that we hadn’t even considered and helped us feel ready for the decisions and unknowns ahead.

During labor, she was exactly the calm presence I needed—anticipating needs before we had to ask, offering both practical guidance and emotional reassurance at the right moments. She helped me feel confident in my choices and proactively supported and communicated those to the medical team. She also brought a sense of brightness and positivity when I needed it most.

I genuinely cannot imagine going through this experience without her. I would recommend her without hesitation—she is exceptional.
