As a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), certified by the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice (ALPP) and Postpartum / birth doula I am actively involved in volunteer service and advocacy efforts that support maternal and infant health within my profession. Currently volunteer as speaker at PEPS and volunteer with Open Arms Perinatal Services in Seattle, where I assist with organizing and preparing supplies for families, support office operations, and contribute to community programs that improve access to perinatal care. I am also a member of the King County Lactation Coalition, where I collaborate with other maternal and child health professionals to promote breastfeeding education and community awareness.
