We had a wonderful experience with Amanda as our doula. Even though this was our second baby we were so thankful for the loving support Amanda gave us. It is very easy to forget all the details about birth and labor but Amanda provided us with many resources for a smooth labor and delivery. She provided us with new tools for helping with pain and setting up a loving and calm environment to deliver our baby boy. We were blown away by her knowledge and all the resources she provided us with. She also encouraged us to ask our midwives about what to do if the water broke and this was incredibly helpful because that is exactly what happened! She also set up a beautiful space in the hospital and also helped us make decisions regarding using pitocin to prevent hemorrhage even though that wasn't in the original birth preferences but was extremely necessary this time around. Amanda is an amazing doula who also provided care outside of the hospital, checking in on us in our first couple days with our new baby. We cannot recommend Amanda enough! She will be a great addition to any birth, whether it's an unmedicated vaginal delivery, medicated or C-section! We are so grateful to have had Amanda at the birth of our second son, Maximilian!

Working with Amanda was such a special and important part of my birth journey as a first time mom. Talking with her before birth helped me think through my plans, preferences and what to expect. It put me in a mindset to be able to know what I want and advocate for myself along the way. The day I went into labor her presence and the environment she created helped me and my partner stay calm, present, focused and connected. Every doctor and nurse noticed and admired the calm vibes of the room every time they came in, which I'm convinced helped me birth go so smoothly. In the postpartum visit, it was so nice to have someone to help me remember and process when things were still fresh. Would recommend Amanda to anyone!
