I truly do not think I would have made it through in as strong a state if it were not for Becca's guidance and support. My pregnancy was complex and stressful and ended in a traumatic birth experience, and Becca stood by me through all of it. She was there before I gave birth to be a supportive ear and offer advice where she could. She never missed a phone call and always followed up to make sure I was okay. She was there during my birth. First, as the doula you'd expect, helping with new positions, massages, and aromatherapy. I was in labor for 60 hours and she helped me find some peace and relaxation when I didn't think I'd make it. When my worst fears became reality and I ended up in an emergency c-section, she was by my side in the OR, playing music and advocating for me every step of the way. When she learned that my son was going into emergency surgery just hours after I gave birth, she stayed long after the contract said she would to offer additional support. And she's been there after, as a support, as a friend, and as another mother who truly knows just how difficult the postpartum world is.

While this is my first pregnancy, I feel I can say two things for certain. 1) In case you're on the fence, yes, you need a doula. 2) Becca is one of the best out there and she will be an unconditional support for you every step of the way.

After having an induction with many hours of pushing with my first baby, I thought maybe having a doula for my second birth might help especially since I was likely going to have another induction and really hoped to not have to push for so long this time.

Becca posted on Facebook looking for summer clients. She was quick to respond to my inquiry and answered questions. My husband and I felt so comfortable working with her, it was like we were just chatting with a friend and talking about babies and birth along the way!

Prior to giving birth, we met with her at our home and she talked through all of the "tools" she had in her bag that would be available to us. She also provided a sample hospital packing list and birth plan.

She checked in with me often via text, answered questions and gave suggestions and advice as we went. She suggested questions for me to ask my provider which was helpful too.

Day of my induction, we kept in touch via text. She actually communicated with my husband during that time so I could rest and focus on the induction process. She again gave suggestions on things to do in the early hours of the induction. Everything progressed nicely and Becca and my husband agreed she should head to the hospital. She played calming music, got a cool cloth for my forehead, got peppermint oil for me to breath in, and provided general support while I was pushing. Luckily, I progressed quickly, so I didn't need as much support as I anticipated regarding pushing and positioning.

Becca took a bunch of photos of us, which we are so thankful for. She hung out with us for the golden hour and for about another hour once we moved to our recovery room. We had a follow up visit a few weeks later at our home and in between Becca checked in to see how we were doing.

We highly recommend Becca. She is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and just a kind and supportive doula.

Becca was a lifeline during my unplanned induction. I utilized her virtual option & even from a distance, she showed up with so much warmth, knowledge, and calm reassurance. She walked me through my options, helped me feel in control of the process, and made sure I never felt alone. Her quick responses and expert guidance made a huge difference in how I experienced my birth. I can’t thank her enough—her support was truly invaluable. I highly recommend!

I am forever grateful for the experience my husband and I had with our doula, Becca. Her knowledge, passion, and dedication are evident from your very first moments together. As a first-time mom, having Becca as part of my journey was truly invaluable.

Emotionally, Becca supported me through the many ups, downs, and uncertainties that pregnancy brings. Professionally, she assisted me with appointments, preferences, the pre- and post-delivery process, and was available 24/7. This support meant everything, as so many unexpected questions come up along the way. I lost count of how many times I reached out asking, “Is this normal?” or “I’m feeling worried about…” There was never a question too small or too big.

Becca’s knowledge of the pregnancy process and your rights as a pregnant, soon-to-be mom is exceptional. She took the time to truly listen to me and understand my preferences and needs. From pregnancy, to the delivery room, to postpartum, she guided me every step of the way. When I wasn’t sure what my preferences were, she offered thoughtful insights that helped shape my experience.

From day one, Becca sat down with both my husband and me to explain the benefits of working with a doula, and we are so grateful we chose this path. I received incredible care—not just as a first-time mom, but as a woman who wanted to feel supported and respected throughout pregnancy.

From planning the registry and preparing the nursery, to creating a birth plan, advocating during appointments, being present in the delivery room, and helping me learn feeding options that felt right for my body, Babies with Becca was the best decision we made. She is still part of my son’s life, and without her, we would not have had the experience we did.
