Working with DeShonda Washington as our doula was one of the best decisions we made during our pregnancy and birth experience. From the beginning, she was knowledgeable, dependable, and incredibly supportive. She took the time to answer our questions, help us understand our options, and made us feel confident and prepared every step of the way.

During labor, DeShonda provided a calm and reassuring presence that helped us navigate a very emotional and important moment in our lives. Her professionalism, experience, and ability to advocate while remaining compassionate made a tremendous difference in our overall experience.

What stood out most was how much she genuinely cared about our family’s well-being before, during, and after the birth. She went above and beyond to ensure we felt supported, informed, and comfortable throughout the entire process.

DeShonda was a Godsend helping us through our second journey as a older mom. Even though we were seasoned parents, my anxiety and doubt got the best of me. Deshonda NEVER made me feel "old" or "fragile" like some care professionals made me feel. Her compassion and empathy made being scared easier to process and a calmer emotional experience.
