I actively advocate for women, children, and families through several community and professional roles. I serve as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem, supporting the needs and voices of children in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. I also participate in outreach initiatives focused on maternal health, mental wellness, and family support. As a disabled Navy veteran, I bring a deep commitment to service, trauma-informed care, and advocating for equitable access to resources for vulnerable and underserved populations. My combined experience in social work, military service, and community advocacy strengthens the support I provide to the families I serve.
My fees vary based on the level of support and services requested, including prenatal visits, labor support, postpartum care, and perinatal nutrition services. I offer flexible options to meet each family’s unique needs and provide itemized invoices for HSA/FSA reimbursement. In appreciation of their service, I also offer a discount for active-duty military members, veterans, and their families. Please contact me for a personalized quote tailored to your birth and postpartum goals.

Kenya was an absolute blessing throughout my pregnancy and the birth of my baby girl. From the very beginning, she provided consistent support, compassion, and education that made me feel confident and prepared every step of the way. Kenya has a unique ability to connect on a personal level while also ensuring families are well informed and empowered to make the best decisions for themselves.
Her presence during labor was calming and reassuring, and her advocacy made me feel safe and heard. Kenya’s dedication to both emotional and physical support extended beyond delivery, and I truly felt cared for as a whole person, not just a patient. Having Kenya as my doula made my birthing experience deeply meaningful, and I am forever grateful for the care she provided to me and my family.

Kenya supported me through the birth of both of my babies, and I truly cannot imagine going through either delivery without her. Her presence was grounding, loving, and empowering in every moment. She knew exactly when to encourage me, when to advocate for me, and when to simply be there with calm reassurance.
Kenya brought so much knowledge, care, and emotional support to both of my birth experiences. Having her by my side made all the difference, and I am forever thankful for the love and dedication she showed my family.

Working with Kenya was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. I was considered high risk due to my rheumatoid arthritis, and navigating pregnancy felt overwhelming at times. From the very beginning, Kenya was a constant source of encouragement and reassurance. She empowered me to advocate for myself, ask questions, and clearly communicate what I wanted for my body, my baby, and my birth experience.
What truly set Kenya apart was her holistic approach to care. As a perinatal nutrition educator, she created personalized meal plan menus specifically tailored to support my pregnancy and help manage my RA. These meal plans were incredibly helpful, and it was clear that she truly listened to my needs, every detail reflected the concerns I shared with her. I felt heard, supported, and cared for in a way that went beyond standard doula support.
Kenya stood by me throughout my pregnancy and delivery, making sure my voice was always respected and honored. Her support continued well into the postpartum period, where I faced challenges with breastfeeding. Through her patience, encouragement, and knowledge, I was able to overcome those difficulties and successfully breastfeed my daughter for 15 months. I am deeply grateful for Kenya’s attentiveness, advocacy, and the genuine care she provided throughout my entire journey.
