TL;DR: Samaria is absolutely the best thing that happened to our family after our son was born.

We hired Samaria as our postpartum doula, mainly to take care of our newborn at night and to help me recover from an unexpected C-section. Before her first session, Samaria came to our place to meet us in person. She shared a lot of helpful information and charts. She also offered us some pillows and a heating pad, even though she was not our birth doula.

During her first session, she arrived 30 minutes early, brought flowers and some groceries, and immediately started working. I was extremely exhausted, and Samaria understood that right away. She told me to just rest.

She took care of our little one throughout the night. She also did our laundry and dishes without us even asking. My husband was also too tired to ask, lol. That night was probably the most important one for us. Rest was priceless at that point, and thanks to Samaria, we were finally able to get some.

We had Samaria for four sessions. During those sessions, she took care of our son, helped with many household chores, and even managed to prepare healthy and delicious breakfasts for us.

A few more things worth mentioning:

1. We had no prior experience with newborns, and Samaria helped us learn so much.
2. She is amazing at meal prep and cooking.
3. She is extremely clean, organized, and responsible.
4. She is so kind, patient, and gentle with newborns.

We are so grateful for everything Samaria did for our family. She made those first few difficult days so much easier for us, and we couldn't thank her enough!

Working with Samaria was one of the best decisions we made as first-time parents. After going through IVF, there was so much uncertainty and anxiety going into birth, and Samaria gave us the knowledge, confidence, and reassurance we needed to feel like we could navigate whatever came our way. She was incredibly personable, easy to talk to, and always made us feel like our questions and concerns were valid. Most importantly, she consistently reminded us that me and our baby were her priority, which gave me so much peace of mind during an experience that can otherwise feel overwhelming and scary.

During my birth, I was induced and ended up having a long labor that required us to spend four days at the hospital. She helped communicate our birth preferences to the nurses, helped clarify questions and decisions the doctors brought to us, and made sure my husband and I felt informed and supported every step of the way. She came prepared with snacks, labor tools, and different positioning techniques to help me stay comfortable and encourage labor progression. She was hands-on when I needed support and gave us space when we needed it. She also managed to fulfill my special request for Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream!

Our postpartum support with Samaria was just as wonderful. She taught us so much about breastfeeding and newborn care while also making sure to check in on me. She was wonderful with our baby and seemed to instinctively know what he needed, which allowed my husband and me to actually rest and reset. She came prepared with everything she needed, offered to help with laundry and bottle washing, and even made us breakfast before leaving in the morning.

We are so grateful we had Samaria with us through both birth and those early postpartum days. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone!

Samaria is awesome, diligent, conscientious, proactive, and goes above and beyond. Communication, contract, and billing were straightforward and effortless. I'd definitely work with her again! 

We hired Samaria as a sibling doula to watch our 19-month-old while my husband and I were at the hospital delivering our second child. She visited us twice beforehand to meet our daughter and get a little familiar with her. They immediately got along, my daughter was happy playing with her, and Samaria was great with time management, keeping her entertained and engaged with activities she had planned in advance. She clearly has experience with kids: she's sweet and fun with them, and committed and responsible with the whole family. She was great at listening to our preferences and rules, and at remembering the logistics of the house. 

Even though we hired her as a sibling's doula, she gave me recommendations to prepare for labor during my last weeks of pregnancy, offered to visit me to go through them together, and checked in on me regularly regarding both the family and my emotional state. She is very proactive and knowledgeable, and always provided the perfect amount of support in the exact way we needed it.

In the end, baby number two decided to arrive after our contract with Samaria was over, but Samaria overdelivered! She reached out and said we could still call once labor started, and she might be able to support us. We called her at 4 a.m. and she saved us! She met us at the hospital and kept our toddler company for a couple of hours, exactly what we needed. Samaria was there before any family could arrive. Besides her personality and professionalism, I'm so grateful for her willingness to help even at 4 a.m., after her contract had already ended.

Samaria is an absolute GOD SEND and helped me with my journey every step of the way! Truly couldn’t have been more blessed and thankful for the help and support she gave me during our first pregnancy journey! Any and all questions were greeted with knowledge and compassion, she’s very easy to talk to and made me feel more than comfortable in such a vulnerable time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND and will definitely have her by my side WITHOUT a doubt for baby #2! Thank you Samaria.

Working with my doula for both birth and postpartum care was such a meaningful  experience. Although she is newer to the field, she was incredibly informative, attentive, and a great listener. She often anticipated my needs without me even having to ask, which made me feel truly cared for during such a vulnerable time.

As a single mom, her presence meant even more I felt reassured, supported, and never alone. She has a very kind and calming way of offering reassurance, and she consistently validated and normalized my concerns. When she didn’t have an immediate answer, she always followed up with helpful, reliable resources.

I’m so grateful for her dedication and genuine care for both me and my baby. I would absolutely recommend her and would gladly book her again.
