Hello! My name is Devina. I grew up in Kenya where women often labored with other experienced mamas around them. I made the decision to become a birth doula so I can provide women and their partners with the information and support they need to go through their pregnancy and birthing journey with confidence. I have 17+ years of work experience in maternal-child health with a Masters of Public Health. I am also a Registered Nurse (RN) with Labor and Delivery experience and currently in graduate school to be a nurse-midwife and women's health nurse practitioner. It is my goal to help women learn to trust in their beautiful, strong bodies and to trust in the birthing process. I will work to support you to birth in awareness, where you feel confident, informed, and surrounded with care, love and respect.
