It was a joy working with Valerie! Her communication was excellent right from the beginning and was available over text for anything urgent. Although we only opted for postpartum doula support, she checked in on us during labor and helped my husband via texts - just some tips for positions to help through my labor. She also interacted well with my family, was flexible about schedule - especially for baby's first bath. Her help was great support for us during our initial phase of baby care! She also shared recommendations as and when I needed them :)

Working with Valerie was a wonderful experience. She brought immense positivity and confidence into my journey as a first-time mom. Talking to her helped me better understand both my baby and myself. She truly goes above and beyond — even coming to our home on the day we were discharged from the hospital to help us settle in. Valerie is incredibly supportive, thoughtful, and understanding of different cultures and family dynamics.

We worked with Valerie for our first baby and she is truly the best postpartum doula imagineable. As soon as I met her, I felt like she provided the tenderness and warmth of my mom. She is punctual, flexible, has great hygiene (masks and hand-washing), and was always happy to support the household in whatever way is needed most. She asked me if I had a preference for how she spend her time at our home, and in the event that I was asleep when she arrived, she just took care of whatever needed caring for, whether it was our baby, folding laundry, doing dishes, or making me a smoothie. Valerie was a joy to have her in our home. Our chats became a highlight of my day and really helped me through the postpartum stage. If we're lucky enough to have another baby, I hope she'll be available to care for us again.
