My postpartum doula rate is $65/hour, which reflects the professional, specialized support I provide to families during the fourth trimester. I bring extensive experience, training, and a nurturing, evidence-based approach to both newborn and postpartum care. My role is to support the entire family, not just the baby. This includes newborn care, feeding support (breast, bottle, pumping, or combo), postpartum recovery guidance, emotional support, overnight care so you can rest, and light household tasks to make your transition home easier. Families hire me because they want a knowledgeable, calm, and non-judgmental professional who helps them feel confident, cared for, and truly supported during this transformative time. My goal is for you to feel rested, informed, and never alone in your postpartum journey.

Post a testimonial for Dana Thompson

Absolute nightmare. More of a scam artist than a photographer.
We sought a cheap photographer because we were doing a backyard wedding and only needed a couple hours covered.
We paid Dana $1000 to show up from 6-10pm and in return we would get 300-500 pictures she said. We have the contract that she drew up.
Dana reached out shortly before the wedding and asked about rescheduling opportunities because she was worried about us getting married in the rain, not wanting to reschedule our wedding over potential rain- we said nah it’s all good…. however, she DID NOT tell us that her “expensive camera equipment” cannot handle the rain until the morning of our wedding. That was within the 72 hour window that her contract gave us for cancellation……
She was “generous enough” to offer a “family photo session” free of charge after she showed up to our wedding for one hour with a professional grade canon and claimed rain was the reason for leaving. It was forecast slight thunderstorms on android devices and Apple phones said rain. Where we are it stayed mostly clear for a majority of the night and we had SEVERAL buildings open for her to seek shelter in.
You can shoot in the rain with professional grade cameras they are indeed actually designed and manufactured for those exact conditions.
Be very aware of this scam artist.
