I cannot recommend Monica enough. As a first-time mom facing an induction, I was terrified. I’m a planner and a bit of a control-freak, and I quickly realized how unprepared I was for what an induction truly looked like. The medical side doesn’t always explain options clearly—but Monica did.

Before birth, she came to my home, drank coffee with me, loved on my dog, and walked me through every step with patience and kindness. She answered every question, never rushed me, and created a clear list of choices I could take with me to the hospital. For the first time, I felt informed instead of afraid.

Even though I didn’t want a doula in the delivery room, she respected that completely. She prepared me without pressure, empowered me without judgment, and helped me feel confident making decisions during labor. There were things she told me I might experience that I didn’t think would happen—but they did. Because she prepared me, I recognized them, I understood what was happening, and I was able to advocate for myself. I truly believe the knowledge she gave me helped me avoid a C-section.

During labor, when new decisions came up, I called her. She reminded me it was my birth and my body, and that reassurance guided me through overwhelming moments. Even though she wasn’t physically there, her preparation changed my birth experience.

After my daughter arrived, Monica continued to check in—bringing muffins, sitting with me, listening to my story, and caring about me, not just the baby. Birth is beautiful but emotional and intense, and having someone hold space for the mother matters more than people realize. Monica did that.

If you want someone who will educate, empower, respect your choices, and genuinely care, Monica is that person. She helped me enter birth informed instead of scared, and I would recommend her endlessly.

I went into labor 5 weeks early, and I was absolutely terrified. Nothing was happening the way I expected, and all I wanted was to avoid another C-section. Monica dropped everything to be with me — no hesitation, no questions, just pure support. From the moment she arrived, she became my anchor.

She talked me through every option, every decision, every scary moment. She made sure I understood what was happening and helped me feel grounded when I felt overwhelmed. Even when it became clear that we had to go ahead with another C-section, she never left my side — emotionally or physically. She reassured me, advocated for me, and helped me feel confident in the choices we were making, even when they were hard.

And her support didn’t end there. When my son was in the NICU, Monica still showed up — literally at my doorstep — with homemade soup, bread, and baked goods. She cared for me in a way that went far beyond her job description. It was kindness I will never forget.

Her presence, compassion, and steady support made one of the scariest experiences of my life so much more manageable. I truly don’t know how I would’ve gotten through it without her.

If you are looking for a doula who will truly show up for you — who will support you, comfort you, educate you, advocate for you, and love on your family during the hardest moments — Monica is the one. She is an absolute blessing, and I am forever grateful she was part of my birth story.
